Mild flavor, creamy, excellent value
I use it in sushi, sushi rolls, on top of bagel with cream cheese, very good product. If I had any complaint would be personal taste - I would like it to be fishier. This is more like expensive caviar.

Good Flavor, light, fresh, slight pop.
I'm by no means qualified to judge caviar, but I do enjoy it. I usually buy Season Caviar Black Capelin. So I was leery about this, because it hadn't been reviewed. I bought both this and the Black. I found both to be as tasteful as the Capelin. The caviar is small row. Mild in taste. And a product of Denmark. Capelin is Icelandic Caviar. And side by side they taste the same. The Agustson Red contains Red#40 & Red#3 & Yellow#6 to give it it's color. It like other Caviar does contain a preservative and holds up well in the frig. I've shared this with guests and so far everyone has enjoyed it with Cream Cheese, Lox and crackers. One thing about this Caviar in comparison to say a Romanoff type caviar typically found in grocery stores is, that it's not oily or too salty. And it's mild flavored. I definitely would recommend this if you enjoy caviar. 12 ounces for $25.00.. Give it a try. Fast delivery.

Red dye
It's does not taste good. I like salmon roe this is not even close. It also has what seems like a lot of red 40.

Good fish roe, but why this extreme color?
Taste and consistency is good, but the extreme red coloring (two red and one yellow dye) is very off-putting. My previous experiences of lumpfish roe was a nice orange color, that I assume was natural. Fish roe is becoming increasingly expensive, so this is a relatively good deal.

This is a great product and price. Their customer service is as good as their products...

Very small in size vs photos
Not bad, but way smaller than expected... These are nowhere as big as the photos show. Flavor is decent, not great. But it's cheap, so I didn't have super high hopes anyway. They are good for a garnish, but if you are looking for something to just eat on a cracker, I'd buy something else

EXTREMELY salty. Inedible.
The saltinness was so extreme It was inedible. And I love very briny foods.I was also surprised as to how quickly it goes bad after opening...my fault. Didn't matter, couldn't eat it.
