I’ve had a couple of different styles of a step or steps for the kitchen these are the third set & they’re the best by far! I originally had the plastic single step which is a bit like a plinth I think you’ll know what product I’m talking about? The second set were pretty much a little set of stepladders with 4 platform style rungs but they were just too big even when they folded up so I’ve been doing without for a while & I finally got around to buying something new & I found these steps & they’re great! They’re lightweight, the height is ideal for kitchen use or for dusting hard to reach areas, they look smart in black, they’re well built, when you’re standing on the top step/platform balance is fine (that will vary from person to person but I’m a mess on my feet & I’m alright with these!) they’re easy to open you just pull open like you would any fold up ladder & to close you grab the carry handle push the small red clip button on the top of the product & lift & they close (you can’t miss the red clip button as it’s the only thing off colour on them apart from black/silver or white/silver) they don’t take up a lot of space when in storage, they’re ideal if you’re in need of such a product & they’re not overly expensive, a good product & purchase, highly recommend.

Fantastic product. These steps fold down flat which makes them really handy and compact for storage with an easily accessible handle for carrying. They feel sturdy to stand on and are a good height for me to reach everything I need. I think the only thing that lets it down which isn’t a great issue is when undoing the locking bar, it could be easier and feel less like your fingers will get trapped but otherwise a great product. This step folds well for convenient storage, seems pretty strong, and is light in weight. I used it to clean the outside of my kitchen window. The instructions with it suggest that it is for indoor use only. I assume that this really means that it is not weatherproof, and might rust if left out of doors. I cannot see why there would be any issue with using it in the dry. I have subtracted one star, because it can slip on a surface like very shiny lino. Ideally, the “feet” should be sticky rubber, rather than the hard plastic of which they are made. The step should work fine on carpet, but would probably suffer the same problem on wood veneer flooring as on lino.

I am almost ecstatic to have this item! I no longer have to lug stepladders around the house! I am a short, plump lady of a certain age and have spent most of my adult life wishing I was a bit taller and could reach things on top shelves. With the arrival of this neat little step-stool, I can easily unfold the sturdy legs, easily stand on it, easily balance on it without getting vertigo and easily reach the things on the top shelves of my kitchen cupboards. I can even open and close the window (inconveniently positioned behind my sink unit and window sill) in the kitchen without having to yell for my husband or son to come and do it for me! There is no danger of the legs collapsing as they lock into position and there's a handle to carry it from room to room. I may just pop this in my bag when I go to the supermarket so that I can reach THEIR things on the top shelf without having to resort to either mountaineering up the shelving or looking round and nabbing anyone (staff or customer...I don't care) who's not vertically challenged like me. That's probably going a bit too far, but you get the picture...I'm delighted!

Very good, sturdy steps that take my weight easily as I'm 99Kg

I bought this step ladder but unfortunately had to return it. The quality and design are actually very good and it looks sturdy. However, the red locking button is extremely stiff and folding it was quite difficult for me. I couldn’t fold it on my own, which made it impractical for my use. If the mechanism was smoother it would be a great product, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me.

I love this. I have a small studio flat and this is small and can be tucked away out of site at the top of a tall wardrobe in my case. I’ve used it to paint my flat, change light bulbs and even in home workouts. It’s sturdy.

This is a great, sturdy step stool. It’s very high quality and worth the price. I like that it folds up, and it’s easy to store. The seller also has great customer service; they messaged me a day after it arrived to make sure it worked well. I’m very happy with the purchase!

At first glance, the stepstool appears to be kind of rickety and the locking mechanism was a little bit of a challenge to disengage, but I like the overall design no obstructions on the top that someone could trip over, and despite her impressions it is holding up pretty well
