Fabulous movie done well
This movie hits all emotions. Sometimes we can't explain the supernatural. It ends in such a beautiful way. I don't want to give the movie away. Kevin Costner does a wonderful job as usual!

A wonderful "punchline" at the end!!
This film has as its objecte the vital lifetruth that the event termed "death" is, in fact, NOT the end of our personal existence: that we all, in fact, survive (in sub-atomic energy form: the eternal SOUL we each are) that very illusory event. We survive that event due to a number of factors: one: we live in a multi-dimensional cosmos (a fact which most definitely NOT all "scientists" are aware of..) - ie, there is far, far more to existence/reality than merely what is visible and audible with our (in fact, very limited) physical sight and hearing. two: our individual mind/consciousness is NOT "merely a by-product of brain activity" (the very wrong assumption of very many spiritually-unenlightened "scientists") - our mind/consciousness operates/manifests THROUGH the physical brain, but is NOT created BY the "mere" physical brain.Three: the actual nature of the thing we call "alive"/"being alive" is far, far different to what spiritually-unenlightened people merely assume. The story in this film is of a wife who is killed in an accident in Venezuela. Subsequent to her physical death, her bereaved husband repeatedly receives what he is sure are communications from his (wrongly-assumed-to-be-dead - ie, wrongly assumed to be annihilated/no longer in existence) wife: she has, in fact, passed back to the spirit dimensions of this multi-dimensional cosmos. The finale of this film is beautiful!! A wonderful way of trying to communicate the reality of the biggest, most important lifetruth: that the actual nature of the event we call "death" is NOT the end of our individual, personal existence - that it is a transitional event. That it causes us to return back to the spirit dimensions of this multi-dimensional cosmos.

Kevin Kostner at his best.
This is so sad but heartwarming. I've watched it twice and will take it with me when I am allowed to visit my sister.

Dragonfly and costner
I never heard of this film until i checked out some kevin costner films and liked the reviews i read online while i shopped for this dvd. It reminds me a little of the sixth sense and the the gift the end i found a little strange but all the same it was a little more happier than some films out there today. Also Kathy bates has a small role in this film to and ron rifkin from (Alias and brothers and sisters). I would say give this a go, and i would say it's no Field Of Dreams or JFK but well worth a watch.

Dragonfly
I first saw Dragonfly on tv a couple of months ago, and watched it -not expecting it to be my kind of movie (sci-fi & horror mainly), butenjoyed it that much I was prompted to buy it for my collection. It's a very similar type of film to The Sixth Sense, though more ofa love story in a way. I would certainly recommend it to anyone intouch with their senses and the real world, a five star movie.
