Amazon Basics Flea and Tick Topical Treatment for Cats (Over 1.5 Pounds), 6 Count (Previously Solimo)

My honest opinion is that the first two months it completely didn’t work. My cat would still have a lot of fleas. Maybe it was the way I was putting it but this month complete 180. It works to the T.

THIS PRODUCT UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. Within minutes the fleas were dying and YES they are going to twitch,and flick and no they won’t like it,but that is the medication working and within a day we are down 80%. DEAD FLEAS.Now I see alot of people complaining “it don’t work & chemical burns” that is because you are either not applying it correctly,using the whole contents,or applying it directly to open wounds.YOU CANNOT APPLY ANY CHEMICAL TO ALREADY DAMAGED SKIN!If the area that is needing to be treated “shoulder blades” are affected,it is better to use at the nap of the neck. I always use at the nap of the neck because they can’t lick easily & it gets distributed evenly by your cat’s natural grooming. Drys within hours and then you can pet your cat as usual.So if used CORRECTLY and use the FULL AMOUNT per vial,you should have success.Treat each cat in your home as well.Do not vacuum-do not pick off fleas-do nothing until you see the fleas dead dead as all the fleas need to get iarounf the meds. If you vacuum or flick them off they will eventually get back to your cat and will not get the biggest dose of the treatment.Do not bathe your cat until you see No sign of fleas. And DO NOT OVER DOSE. One application is plenty enough. Order two boxes and write the date one month ahead to know when to give the next dose.100% WORTH IT. My girls are feeling much better and more comfortable and I have noticed less scratching.Again your cat will go NUTS scratching and twitching because the fleas are DYING,they will be fine…..let them do what they do,it will calm down after a few hours.ANNDDD we have a major infestation from the humid summer we are having,so for me to come to write this review says alot.GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER….GET THIS ASAP.

This product does not work. We’ve been using it on our 2 cats to prevent and treat what was initially a very minor flea problem, and even though one cat is strictly indoors and the other is strictly outdoors (they do not ever come in contact - one is a rescue we’ve had for 1 year and both are very standoffish/skittish) we’ve seen more flea activity NOW than when we started using this product 5-6 months ago! I’ve been so patient and given it ample time for the product to work, but it’s just a waste of money. It’s very disheartening because I’m actually allergic to fleas, so I’m hyper-aware of any sign of flea activity and IMMEDIATELY began treating our rescue when we got him, and began treating our indoor cat just as a precaution about 6 months ago. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve started to get bites INSIDE my home - even though we are always precisely on schedule with application. Now I have to treat my home, yard, and both cats because this stuff just has not worked AT ALL.

This is the second time I purchased and apply it to our kitties.Neither time it work and the cats continued to have fleas, whether the same day or several days later.Bad to the point that instead of one month intervals we did it two weeks later.This product, although less expensive, is absolutely worthless.

I’ve seen other people having bad reviews saying it didn’t work and I wonder if they have a larger cat and still bought this size. I used it on my 2 pound rescue kitten that was covered from head to toe in fleas. After a flea bath, he still had a significant amount on him and I wanted to order this to prevent my other cats from fleas as well. It worked wonders. Within 24 hours all the fleas were gone and I haven’t seen any since! It works exactly like the name brand but for half the price, just weigh your cat and order a larger size if you need. I ordered this one and the one for over 9lbs and my house is flea free!

Doesn't work for me. The fleas on my three cats are immune - a week after treatment and they have just as many fleas as before. I won't buy it ever again

Our cat didn’t spaz out when we used this on him vs the other brands. His skin didnt get irritated where I put it. The dispensers are sturdy and a good size to hold. My cat still ate normal and seems healthy still after use. Seems safe as long as it’s not licked by himself or our dog.

Have been using this consistently with my kitties and has completely gotten rid of their fleas. However my mom is super sensitive to things and if she touches the cats she seems to get a break out of some sort only free using this product. If you have super sensitive skin I wouldn’t recommend.
