! START LOW ! If you have never used a benzoyl peroxide wash, don't start with a 10% one! It's extremely important to ease into BP use to avoid burning/reddening, so start with a 3%, 5% or lower and only use it every other day, then gradually use it more. Once you can use your wash 2x day with no reactions, you can graduate to a higher percentage. This is what my dermatologist cautioned, so people leaving bad reviews likely jumped in too deep and didn't ease into BP use or left it on too long (important to 100% rinse it off).I haven't had a new breakout yet since starting this and my skin looks noticeably brighter. I had been using the Harris 5% BP wash twice a day prior to trying this one but I was still getting breakouts with the 5%, so I tried out this one. I haven't had any stinging, burning, or reddening (actually the opposite) since I conditioned my skin to handle more BP%. Benzoyl peroxide really works but you gotta start with baby steps.My only complaint is that they don't sell it in bigger bottles. I'd love a huge bottle to keep in the shower for body washing.

I havent had a real big problem with adult acne but my birth control has ruined my face. I was so thankful I found this product, it really is amazing. I would not say this is a wash for people with sensitive skin. My face would always come out red but it really works. I loved how it clears cystic acne like a champ but it really left my skin dry. I paired it with a moisturizer leave on mask which solves that. What is really really important to know is TEA TREE OIL AND THIS PRODUCT DO NOT MIX. I usually use tea tree oil on any acne bumps that are extremely painful but when I say my skin felt like it was burning off I really mean it. I started crying because I knew I messed up. Badly. I had to switch to a basic salicylic wash that didnt have tree oil in it. Despite this set back I had to chalk it up to trail and error on my part. This product is still one of my favorites. This combined with a salicylic acid wash and my skin glows. I have not had any other product not mix well but then again I try my best to use only this product, the salicylic wash and a moisturizer. Try not to cross contaminate too much and you should be golden.

I initially rated this 2-3 stars as i didn't think it helped my acne issues. However, when i didn't buy a new bottle (stopped using it) my acne came back.... so I'm increasing my review to 4 stars because i didn't realize how much help it was initially. I think it just takes continued use for a few weeks to see a change, the change and improvement won't be immediate.I have VERY sensitive skin and this product did not bother me AT ALL. I have pretty bad psoriasis and keratosis pilaris as diagnosed by multiple dermatologists. Additionally, the back of my thighs and my butt have always had acne issues (similar to the keratosis pilaris, but with deep pimples, blackheads and white heads). I've been seeing various dermatologists for prescriptions and solutions to these issues since i was ~12-13 and i'm now 30. Additionally, I have an allergy to sulfate (and have terrible reactions to anything with SLS (Sodium laureth sulfate) or other sulfate cleansers).Over the last year or so I have been using an injectable biologic prescription and a salicylic acid shampoo for the psoriasis and daily salicylic acid body and face wash for face acne and the keratosis pilaris on my arms and legs. These three things combined are HUGE improvements!! I've also ensured that ALL of my skincare and hair care products do not contain any sulfates or parabins at this point as i think i'm very sensitive to them. All that said, i STILL couldn't get the acne on my butt and legs to go away.However, now that i've been using this product almost daily for a few months..... my acne is 95% gone! I still get a pimple maybe once a month in that area, but it's nothing like before. NOTHING! I'm so much more confident than i used to be wearing just underwear or bathing suits! Now all i have to do is get rid of those darn scars... :(Anyways, if you haven't tried this yet - give it a try. Use it daily or every other day when you shower and after a few weeks you'll see an improvement. Like i said, it's slow and takes time but it definitely works since mine came back when i stoped using it! Also, some comments complain that this product (And other benzoyl peroxides) will stain towels, clothing or sheets. I think that's true if you're not thoroughly rinsing. I use this product this way: I lather it over troublesome areas and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Then i use my regular bodywash in those areas and the rest of my body. I think rinsing w/ this method helps remove residuals and thus doesn't end in me ruining towels or clothing or sheets.4 stars just because it takes a lot of time to see results as i wish there was a quicker solution.

This product right off the back smell so much better than most acne treatment washes, to me, it almost smells fruity! Unlike what some of the reviews said my bottle and package came undamaged and worked fine. When using the product it hasn't irritated my skin at all.When looking for a product I tend to focus on the reviews, and comparing this product to many others it seemed the best. Most negative reviews I saw were minor things. For starters, the bottles pump not working. Even though this is not ideal that doesn't mean the product isn't good. Next, I read some things about dry skin happening, since this product is a Benzoyl Peroxide Wash that is expected and should be followed up with some sort of moisturizer. Finally, some people said this wash cause their acne to worst or for chemical burns to occur. Now if it caused your acne to get worst that could mean that this product just doesn't work for you, everyone's body is different. When it comes to chemical burns however, it is important to read instructions and listen to your skin. If you are someone with sensitive skin this might not be the product for you and when using it if you're feeling any sort of irritation within the 1-2 minutes it is on your skin you should wash it off immediately.

I used for my body wash after shower, used few times. Buy right after the use, i noticed more acness developed on back, sholders and necks as where i usually have them regularly. I read same situations before buying but, i thought it wont be the case. So, now completely stpped to use it rather i am using relulary soap for high possible dryness of my skin. ( my skin is so oily) better way it so keep it dry and shower every day.
