One Of The Best DJ Gear Purchase I Made
I got a pair of these(TTX USB) in 2009 after a thorough research on what turntables are the best for the budget I have. I read on some of the forums that the earlier versions (e.g. TTX1) had heating or platter issues and that the latest iteration, the TTX USB had those issues addressed. I got these for $309 each. The other turntables I was looking at were the Vestax, Stantons, and of course the SL1200s. What made me decide to get the Numarks vs the other TTs is the ton of features that came with it. Some examples are: the option of using the straight vs the s-shaped tone arm, the ability to replace/change the RCA cables, the feature where you can configure the position of your turntables to battle-style or just the regular setup, the ability to change the torque settings to H, M, L, the adjustable brake speed, the reverse play button, the solid construction, and the adjustable rubber pods. If I were to narrow my choices down, it would have been the SL1200 vs the TTXs. I just chose the TTXs over the SL1200s because it would cost me $400 to $600 more for the SL1200s. Comparing it to the newest Numark turntable, the TT250 released in 2015 I think, I would still choose the TTXs over those. Great product overall. Received the item on time and didn't have problems with the seller.

Numark TTXusb Turntable
Excellent product. Can play record speeds from 16 2/3rpm to 118rpm. This is just right for record collectors who have records recorded at different speeds, especially for collectors of "78"rpm discs. The startup time is nearly instantaneous as is the stop time. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I have a slight hum problem - there is no grounding wire or screw. I would also like to see the display show the actual rpm along with the percentage indication. I also wonder why it consumes 65 watts of power. Its competitors use only about 15 watts.Steve B

LOVE THIS TURNTABLE!!!!
I seriously dig this turntable. It has everything but the kitchen sink, including a BPM Counter, 1-100% pitch shift, S- and Straight Tone arms, a pop-in light 33-45-78 speed, and reverse. It's well built, with a high torque motor, and sounds great. The USB output hooks direct to any kind of computer, and as long as you have recording software, you can transfer your vinyl direct to MP3 or WAV. You won't be sorry with one of these in your studio.

numark turntable with usb. i like it
works great, fun, high quality. very heavy. not semi-automatic however not hard to set up. lots of bells and whistles, but for the average user (like me), plenty of options but doubt will need them. high quality pro model. not sure why the power switch is near the back so hard to reach

... had this turntable for about a year and absolutely love it. Built like a tank
I've had this turntable for about a year and absolutely love it. Built like a tank, extremely versatile and sexy - what more do you want? I bought this to replace my Numark TT1 and haven't been disappointed. The only negative is the included software is rudimentary and pretty much worthless to anyone who already has Sony Sound Forge, Roxio, Nero, etc.

Nice Turntable!
I had the Numark TTX1's since they first came out. They had by far been my pick over any other turntable (including the Tech 1200's). Unfortunately, the TTX1's finally gave out on me. As much as it was hard for me to let them go, it was time to move on to the new line of TTX with usb. It has the same feel and torque as the original did. The usb hook up to digitize my old 12 inch collection is a nice addition. In my opinion, this is the industry standard for DJ turntablists.

Great deck
This is a good solid turntable. I use it mainly for listening and sampling, and it's got good sound. The usb deal is really nice and easy to use. Now my Parliament is on MP3!

This is one of the three heirs to the Technics throne
OK. I think nobody can deny that the Technics SL-1200 MKII is a superb turntable, considered an industry standard with good reason. But sadly, it's now gone. Now, if you are like me and don't like to take the inherent risks of buying used without trying first, you must look somewhere else. Fortunately, there are currently three awesome alternatives in the market (in no particular order): Numark TTXUSB, Audio-Technica AT-LP1240-USB and Stanton ST.150. All of them are awesome machines, but I chose the Numark because it was the most attractive to me. Well, actually, and contrary to what many people think, not having a cartridge is definitely NOT a "minus" for this awesome product, for the simple reason that you can choose whatever you like to put at the front end of the tonearm. That's why I put the Stanton below the Numark and the Audio-Technica, since it comes with a cartridge and that's why it's more expensive, so you are paying for something that you will probably want to replace. That's indeed a "minus" for the Stanton.I can tell that I'm extremely happy with this turntable. Not only because it has way more features than the SL-1200 (actually that doesn't say anything about a product's quality) but because it's a truly sturdy machine. It's a HEAVY and well isolated turntable that can take any kind of abuse. Motor is really silent and overall construction doesn't make you think of a cheapo. Yes, I know that the Technics is manufactured in Japan and the Numark/Audio-Technica/Stanton are made in China (Japanese manufacturing is a seal of quality), but any of them can play up to par with the Technics. Wow & flutter specification is better on the SL-1200, but I'm still waiting for someone to show me a truly audible difference between 0.002% and 0.15% W&F.Speaking of features, it has lots of them that are mainly attractive to DJs, but just being able to play 78 RPM records is a big selling point to me. Reverse playing and adjustable platter start/stop time are cool, too. Something unique is the interchangeable tonearm (the TTXUSB comes with both a straight and an S-shaped tonearm), but ONLY use the straight tonearm if you are a heavy scratcher. Skip-proof, but not so gentle with your prized vinyl records.I just have two minor gripes: It comes with a 45 RPM adapter, but no receptacle for it, and there's no extra headshell/cartridge holder either (really useful on a 78 RPM-capable turntable). It doesn't come with a dust cover, but at least you can purchase it separately (both the included dust cover and 45 RPM adapter receptacle are slight "plusses" for the Audio-Technica AT-LP1240-USB).As a home listener, I could have bought the cheaper Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB, which is a very decent turntable that also plays 78 RPM records and it's the one that most closely resembles an SL-1200, but I went the "top of the line" way not because of the extra features but because I wanted a truly superb machine. And the TTXUSB definitely is. I know that this kind of turntable is mainly aimed to DJs, but I don't see why a home listener like me can't enjoy a monster like this one. This is the one to own in the absence of the mighty SL-1200.
