RIVAL Boxing RB50 Intelli-Shock Compact Bag Gloves, Hook and Loop Closure - Soft Inner Lining, Multi-Layered Foam Padding

I’ve been using the RIVAL Boxing RB50 Intelli-Shock gloves for heavy bag work and mitt sessions, and I can confidently say they’re one of the best training gloves I’ve owned. Break-in period: One of the first things I noticed is how quickly these gloves break in. They feel a bit firm out of the box (which I actually like), but after just a few sessions they mold nicely to your hands. You don’t have to suffer through weeks of stiffness to get them comfortable. Feel on the bag and mitts: The feedback is outstanding. You can really feel your punches landing clean without sacrificing protection. On the heavy bag, they give you that satisfying, responsive contact. On focus mitts, the precision feels sharp and controlled. They strike a really nice balance between impact absorption and connection. The POP: This deserves its own mention — the POP sound is incredible. When you land clean shots, especially straight punches, you get that crisp snap that every boxer loves to hear. It’s motivating and honestly makes training more fun. Protection: Protection is excellent. The padding absorbs impact extremely well, especially for longer heavy bag sessions. My knuckles and wrists feel secure, even during higher-volume workouts. The Intelli-Shock padding does its job without making the gloves feel overly bulky. Overall build quality: The construction feels premium. The materials look and feel durable, and the gloves hold their shape well. Stitching and overall finish are top notch. They’re not entry-level gloves — they feel like serious training gear — and they’ve definitely elevated my sessions. Highly recommended.

Great gloves. High quality with great wrist support. They are tough to break in so your hands will be sore for a few months before they’re fully broken in.

Solid gloves. They look pretty good and fit well. The intellishock padding is nice and gives a nice pop. A bit stiff but work well for bag work. Could definitely be a bit better in terms of hand protection, but makes sense for the price.

The glove itself is great, has an excellent pop when hitting the bag, not much fatigue over extended use. I have a hand circumference of 10in, and ordered the size Large. I noticed the first time using them that it fits very tight around the hand, and after a 30min bag session, my pointer finger knuckle was blistering pretty bad. I’ll be ordering size XL to see if there is a difference. I also use hand wraps that are of the fingerless glove type, and the fit is very tight with size Large. I hope to also see some difference with the XL size related to this.
