Stick It/Fix It set- Turn nail polish into gel!

Worth every penny, and then some! While I am very frugal, I do like to spend money on my hobbies and nail polish is high on that list. I hated having to buy new colors in gel polish all the time, especially when I own probably around 100 bottles of regular polish.Not only is this stuff very easy to use, the outcome is GREAT!! The polish still has an intense shine to it over a week later and has help up better than some of the other brands of gel I have used (such as Gelish and other name brand gels).As far as mixing ratios, I have read about and tried for myself using more color than gel and it works so well! I used a ratio of about 2:1 (color-to-fix it). I feel like this will make the Fix-it last longer and you definitely need less coats of your color if you're trying to get it opaque.

I really, really, really wanted to like this product. I love the concept - which would allow for a vast selection of colors rather than be limited to those offered by gel polish manufacturers. However, after THREE attempts to achieve the desired effect, I must sadly give up The process was great - the polished mixed well and went on smoothly. The final coat of "Fix It" gave a beautiful shine - Only problem is that the color on my nails was NOT the color in the bottle. Each wound up with an orange hew - including the mauve I chose to wear on Easter.I don't know how long it lasts - I only went days - I could not tolerate the color change.Too bad, it is a great idea. Perhaps there is something in my body chemistry - don't know. It just doesn't do it for me.

Trying to return it. Mixed it with ILNP holographic polish and an Essie polish and followed directions meticulously. Neither attempts cured hard even with the LED. They were so gummy they smudged and I had to remove the polish and redue my color with Gelish polish. Maybe I got a bad batch?

I used this with multiple different colors of nail polish and the color seems to be holding well. I have found that when you add drop for drop of polish that the colors become diluted, this is because there is actually more gelibility product than polish. I have found that adding two drops of polish to one drop of gelibility solves this problem. The only downfall and the reason for four and not five stars is that if you let the polish sit it will start to dry so you have to constantly mix it or use it quickly.

I was so excited to get this and am very pleased with this product. I bought this along with an LED lamp so I can do gel manicures at home and so far have done three. Each time it turned out just like a gel manicure I would get at the salon; shiny, durable polish that wears for at least two weeks. No chips or cracks and I have my hands in water a lot.For each manicure I used a cheap store bought regular polish (sinful for $2 or something similar) and mixed it with the fix-it gel as directed. My observation was that it does seem to thin the color a bit ( especially on white or pastel shades)but not fade it. It may depend on the quality of polish you use. Because of this I found it necessary to do three coats of polish. Not a big deal though since it dries so quickly under the lamp.I have not tried mixing any other polishes like glitter, Color changing or holographic ( not even sure what that is).The only drawback I see is that the gel polish is still a pain to remove. It does help to file the top of your nails before soaking in acetone.So in closing, I would highly recommend this product. It definitely works as advertised and it's so fun to do!

I had a tough time to get the Gelibility product to mix well with the polis, The end result was a very streaky mani.But it was as durable as my regular gel polish.

I ordered this back in December 2015, have used it many times and I love the fact I can use any of my current nail Polish colors with this product and turn them into a gel-type manicure. Each manicure lasts me over 2 weeks, I had one for 3 weeks with no chips, but I usually want to change color after that. I use it with an LED light (also bought at Amazon MelodySusie® 12W Violetili LED Lamp Nail Dryer for Curing LED Gel & Gelish Nail Polish Black) and cure for 60 secs each coat, works great.TIP: for one of my applications, I accidentally switched the products around (used the Stick It instead of the Fix It for mixing, and vise versa) I panicked at first thinking it wouldn't set right, but after I was done curing the last coat, I had the exact same results, compared ingredients and found that each has almost the exact same, except that the Fix has one additional ingredient, just in case you run out of the Fix It, you can use the Stick It and have the same results.
