Great string!!!
Great bow string. Would recommend. Strung the crossbow and was shooting bullseye in a matter of minutes.

Some think this string is too short for their Matrix ...
Some think this string is too short for their Matrix. I called Excalibur and they informed me the new strings are shorter than the original and yes the brace height will look off but do not worry. You will likely have to adjust your stringer tool to get the limbs to bend enough for the new string and yes the limbs will be bent more. You will have increased speed. Also, the string needs to have at least 3 twist. Do not take out all the twist to get it longer, leave at least 3 twist. This is the recommendation of customer support from Excalibur.

Much Better Than Original
Had this string a year now and was looking to buy a spare when I realized I never wrote a review. This sting has held up much better than the original matrix string which broke on me fall of 2017. So far almost no stretch and only slight signs of wear on the serving but I have not waxed the rails like I should either. Out of the package I put several twists in the string based on my previous string only to find I was way short. Ended up with 2 1/2 twists for the entire length in order to sit correctly. All in all, very pleased with this over the original. Will be purchasing another for spare soon.

It is a bit shorter than the original string, hopefully it will stretch to the correct brace by Sept.
