Very authentic Northern New Mexico recipies.
My favorite New Mexico cookbook. It has all the recipes that my grandma use to make. I have the hard copy already, but my dad kept it so I decided to purchase the digital this time one so I can always have it close by when I need it.

This is the Real Deal!
Northern New Mexico food is distinctive. It is not like Mexican or Tex-Mex. While each family has their unique spin on things, these recipes are similar to the ones my mother and grandmother made when I was growing up. So happy to have found this book. I would recommend these recipes to anyone who wants to make authentic, traditional northern New Mexico food.

Nice small cookbook
The recipes were easy to read and follow. I had hoped for a few more recipes than what was provided, but the few provided were a good limited start.

A Great Cookbook for the New Mexican in all of us!
I love this cookbook! Everything a New Mexico Cookbook should have. Great recipes from my childhood and a few I have never tried too. I had met Yolanda a few times and am very well acquainted with the Ortiz Y Pino family.

Dated recipies
One recipie called for a tin of grapes. Lots of lard. Very few ingredients. Very simplistic.
