Once you start reading, you won't be able to stop!
I am going to start with saying I don't typically read about high school kids. The age is just a bit too young for me. BUT, I love Melissa Toppen and Alex Grayson, so I had to give this one a shot, and boy and I glad that I did. This was the story of Zayden and Rylee. Rylee's mom remarried and her new husband has a son, Oliver. Oliver's best friend is Zayden. It starts out with Zayden and Oliver giving Rylee a hard time during her first days at her new school, teasing, bullying, etc., even getting more and more people involved. Somehow Zayden started to realize that what they were doing to Rylee was not right and it was taking things too far... he was also starting to realize how much he actually liked Rylee. It was a typical high school-type story to me with the high school behavior, high school feelings, etc., but I still really enjoyed how the relationship developed between Rylee and Zayden. He was really a great guy disguising himself as a bad boy. He takes care of his sick sister by working hard, underground fighting to make money, and spending all of his spare time with her when his father has to be at work. Not the life a typical teenage boy would lead, and Zayden you will come to see is not a typical teenage boy. If you love YA and teenage romance you will love this. If you are not a fan, you will still love this story! I liked the writing duo of Melissa Toppen and Alex Grayson and I hope they continue to collaborate!

Absolutely loved!
HS Bully Romances aren't usually a genre that I gravitate to. However, I wanted to give this one a try as it was one of Alex Grayson's stories, cowritten with Melissa Toppen. It was virtually impossible to not love these characters. Zayden has so many layers that just when you think you have him pegged as a jerk, he surprises you. I also found Rylee's big heart admirable. When she would have had every reason to walk away...she always showed herself to be an amazing human being. And she wasn't a weak girl either, she was strong and didn't really put up with a lot of crap, which made me love her character so much!Obviously this story has a strong romantic story line. Zayden is very much an alpha male in every way, much as you would expect him to be. Absolutely loved his protective nature!I am curious if we will see any of the secondary characters in this story get their own happily ever after. Wouldn't mind seeing Oliver knocked down a peg or two!Overall I really loved this book. Read it from start to finish in one sitting. Looking forward to more from Alex Grayson and have Melissa Toppen book marked to check out her work.Treacherous gets 5 stars from me!

⭐️⭐️⭐️
3.5 stars. Good book but nothing just absolutely phenomenal about it. Just your average easy romance read. I enjoyed the story, and will read the next one.

This is a great writing duo. Their writing is strong and I enjoyed it for the most part. I'm not sure what this new fixation is on high school romance. High school, even as a former popular kid, was not all it was cracked up to be. There is an immaturity there. Even as much as I liked Rylee and Zayden, they felt young. I wished they had been in college. I'm looking forward to the fact that Oliver and Savannah will be college.

ALL THE FEELS!!!
What a freaking amazing bully book!Rylee is the strongest character I’ve read in a very long time. Like she has the biggest “balls” EVER! She’s a warrior. Rylee hoes through complete and utter hell the last few moths of High school but she’s so strong that she comes out in too after everything that has happened.Zayden starts off as that bad boy bully that’s so dang sexy but you’d live to knock his a$$ out! He isn’t as bad as Oliver who is his best-friend and now Rylees stepbrother. But once the feelings start getting stronger, he starts to change into a protector. Rylee becomes so much more than he ever thought possible. This young adult story will have you in the edge of your seat. You will feel every single emotion. This book is very hard to put down. So entertaining! So good! A must read!Highly recommended. This writing duo is phenomenal! And I can’t wait for more from these two!

Good
Rylee mom remarried and she has an evil step brother Oliver . on her first day of new school for her senior year she bumps into Zayden Oliver's best friend. While they tease her Zayden likes her but refuses to let it be known that is till Oliver go to far . Now just need Rylee too know he is for real before it too late.

Great read!
I thoroughly enjoyed this Bully Romance with a twist! Treacherous is a quick, entertaining read with just enough drama to have you turning pages to see what happens next. And while I loved most of the characters, there are a few that made me want to throw my Kindle, but that is part of what makes it a great book. As always, Alex Grayson delivers a fantastic read and I've discovered a great new to me author in co-writer, Melissa Toppin. 4 Fabulous Stars!

Gripping story
This is one of my types of stories because it emotionally pulls at you. Rylee is a great character and is really put through the ringer in this story. Zayden and Oliver are best friends but here is where it gets complicated because Oliver hates Rylee while Zayden has mixed feelings. I love the way this story pulls you in and keeps you hooked till the end. Another part of the story I really enjoyed is Pierce. I just think that he was a great addition to the story. Overall I can say enough good about this story.

Boring, typical
I read reviews on here about how this wasnt a typical teenage bully book however that is ALL this was. It was boring (I skimmed many pages) with ALOT of talking. Not much happened. Would not recommend.
