I have ordered several migraine aides. This is my favorite. However, migraines occur on ONE SIDE of head for most. Therefore I don’t like that the gel pack is for BOTH SIDES. I want this item to have 3 options, Right, Left, Both sides. Person can order what they need. Also the gel packs don’t stay cold long enough. And they can’t be cut in half to use only one side. So I use another item that has a strip that fills with water. Ice stays cooler longer. I use ICE WRAPTOR ice packs, cut in half and keep my left side daily migraine at peace. It does not take it away when strap removed, but wearing, I feel no pain. Heaven. I can walk around as it is like a head band. Very quality built. Could have Velcro strip to close wrap when filled with hell or ice strip. I can wear it out on street, looks like headband. Just make some improvements for most migraine people who only have one side impacted.

Love this for my migraines! I only wish that it came with another insert, or there was a way to but just the insert. It only feels cold for 15 minutes or so, it would be nice to have another insert to switch it out with.

I think that this is an okay product. I've had it for about a month and have used it several times not for headaches but just for pulling and relaxing after being in the sun or after a hard day. I can't speak on if it works for migraines or tension headaches but in general I like to put a gel ice pack or a very cold washcloth on my eyes are forehead and that's why I bought this to replace those. When I received the product I was shocked to see that it actually said it was size medium on the box. There was no place when I went to order that you could choose the size so then after I took it out and I put it around my head I realized even on the tightest setting it's kind of a little big so if I had known that there was a different size or there was some kind of chart telling you that you could pick other sizes I would have done that. But it still fits I just think that the larger areas that are supposed to go on your temples dip down on me a little bit further than they should. You might want to check the measurements before you order because of that. Upon opening the package I read through all the instructions and I tried the heat setting first. It was a little weird to have to wrap the pack in something to put in the microwave I have other heat devices that you microwave that you just put straight in so that might be a little bit of a negative if you want to just do like a One-Stop thing. But I tried it and I actually had put it around my leg and it worked okay and I put it on my head and it worked fine. It didn't stay super warm super long but I feel like it was fine. Then for the cold part I was super happy that it came with a plastic bag you could put the insert with gel into the freezer to help keep food smells or freezer burn smells away. I currently have a clay ice/heat pack in my freezer and it does gain all kinds of smells so I thought that that was excellent. I put it in the freezer for the recommended time which was a couple of hours and after I took it out I was surprised how rigid it was. Placed the insert into the headband part and on my head and and what I suspected happened. It didn't mold around my head but because of the way that the insert is shaved it kind of had sharpish edges so what I mean is it didn't mold completely to the areas that I wanted it to. When I purchased this product for no reason I kind of was under the impression you might be able to pull this down on your eyes. The manufacturer does not claim that and this is not their fault but I did try to do that and it didn't sit over my eyes were like a beaded gel eye mask would have so there was a learning curve there and then when I realized that it needed to sit on your temples and on your forehead again because the size was a little large for me I had to wait for it to come to a slightly less Frozen temperature for it to really be beneficial. It was way too cold coming out of the freezer to put on my head. They do mention this and they say to wait a little while so I waited the very minimum amount of time so from that time to putting on my head I got about 10 minutes of cold relief. Again that might be recommended that you only do 10 or 15 minutes but I am used to other devices that I have that you can freeze or heat being able to keep them on longer. The temperature dissipated pretty quickly and for me is somebody who would want to use this after a long day or getting ready for bed it was kind of the equivalent of putting a cold washcloth on your head in that it takes about that amount of time for it to go from cold to not cold. I was disappointed in that and they don't make any claims that it's going to last longer or that you should use it longer but it was just the impression that I had gotten when I bought it. And again because of the way that the jealous packed in this structure that's kind of eyeglass shaped when you put it on your head sometimes some of the areas of the cold pack aren't even really touching your forehead. I don't know if I did have a slightly smaller one if that would change but I still continue to use it to see if I could get used to it. So I've been using it about a month. I do think it is an okay product and I can definitely see how it could benefit somebody who just had some kind of wisdom tooth removal or TMJ, and it definitely does in my opinion help relieve head pain so I think that something like this for somebody who does have migraines could really be beneficial. Actually when I bought this I have a friend who takes medicine for migraines every day and gets them several times a week she bought it and she does like to use it. For me, I'm somebody who gets super hot in the sun I don't take heat well at all so after coming in from doing like yard work or a long drive going right into the sun especially in 85° plus days I kind of wanted to use it for relief from that, as well as kind of like tension relief after a long day like I mentioned earlier. It was short-lived for me so I am going to end up using the clay hot and cold pack that I already have in my freezer. That pack is square and has Velcro on it and is typically used for people with like a shoulder or like a knee or a thigh injury and I will just end up putting it on my head and the cold stays cold for at least 30 minutes not freezing cold but pretty cold and the hot on that can last sometimes past 45 minutes. That product was around the same price as this and it's much bigger so for me I may still end up using this product sometimes but overall I'm not going to use it like several times a week like I thought I would. I do think it would be worth trying. I just wanted to give my honest opinion on what I thought it was going to do versus how it actually acted.

this product is amazing.

Just the right size, shape, and weight to cover my forehead and temples when recovering from a throbbing migraine headache. The adjustable velcro closure adapts to any size head. Other, similar products are far too big and heavy, cover the entire head which is unnecessary, unhelpful, and thus insanely cold. I strongly recommend this ice pack stored in a Ziplock bag always ready for instantly aiding migraine relief.

TheraICE head wrap is so worth it!! As a Licensed Massage Therapist and someone who has migraines and headaches frequently, I have been using a super cold washcloth to put over my eyes and head for a headache. This is a GAME CHANGER!! The color is super pretty as I got the pink one, it’s medium/lighter in weight but provides the heavy feeling for the compression. It gets cold very fast when it sits in the freezer and stays cold for a while. The wrap is secure when you put it on your head and is breathable with the nose “V”. The overall material is great quality and is really flexible to fit around the head although it says that one size fits all. The only thing is that it does smell kind of weird; like silicone/plastic. All of the positives of this product out weighs the one negative. That’s for sure. I will be recommending to my clients. Spend the money. Your head will thank you!!

La compré para mis jaquecas y estoy muy contenta. Trae una bolsa para meter el gel en el congelador y que no se manche. Es muy cómoda de usar y alivia bastante el dolor de cabeza. En cuanto a la duración pone que dura dos horas frío, pero en mi caso, a la media hora ya está derretido. Pero no me importa porque es el tiempo que suelo ponerla. No la he probado en caliente.

You have to wait until the cold pack is less cold for it to be less stiff so that it can wrap easily around your head. This means that you can't use it immediately and less long. Also, the strap isn't very big and comes off rather easily.

I love the Newgo brand of ice/heat therapy packs! They have been amazing for headaches, migranes, oral surgery (swelling from wisdom tooth extraction), fevers and just beating the heat in the summer. I have yet to use them microwaved and always keep them ready to use in the freezer. They are very durable and the material that is against the skin is super soft and comfortable. The velcro adjustable strap makes the head wrap a comfy fit for different sized heads or use on other areas. Love that they included a resealable bag to store them in so that they don't collect refridgerator smells. I've bought quite a few of these to include in gift baskets for family and friends whom have also fell in love with them. I have tried other brands but none have been as well made and have all ended up in the trash except the NewGo brand ones.
