D'Addario Accessories Dynaflex Gyro Hand Exerciser

First of all, id just like to say that anyone who gives this product a bad review is a stunad and clearly impatient and can't read SIMPLE directions. (Any brand or version of this mechanism would undoubtedly work great btw since theyre all made the same. I just chose the cheapest I could find) When mine arrived, I had no problem whatsoever starting it up. It's a very simple concept a child can understand. It amazes me that people cant get it to work. Basically it works in the same way the world rotates daily. I have bad wrists (along with fingers)and I play guitar like a lot of people that buy this product, and it is HIGHLY affective in working those muscles. You will notice change immediately in your muscle response. This along with the finger exerciser has definitely helped a WHOLE LOT in my strum/finger placement coordination. (My hands are really bad) my movement is very limited and this has helped me gain some agility back. The only thing you might wanna consider is which version of this product you buy (as I have gotten my rip cord stuck numerous times). Just don't spend double the money on the base! It is completely unnecessary! The pull back (or wind up) one would probably be good for people that have the same problem as I. One of the plastic ends of my rip cord has already ripped off! Just don't be so rough on it though and you shouldn't have this problem.

It takes a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, it’s fairly intuitive to get it going and keep it going. Man is it a forearm workout! I don’t use the string, I run the yellow internal across a flat surface to get it going. Once you start rotating it, you’ll feel the force and will need to stay ‘behind it’ to keep the oscillation going. Once you get one in your hand, you’ll understand.

The Dynaflex Gyro Hand Exerciser was recommended to me by a chiropractor I had met after I complained of wrist weakness and stiffness. I was hopeful, but for the life of me, I could not keep the "ball" (inside) spinning. In my opinion, it was just too much aggravation getting it to work or to even keep it and keep trying. Starting the inner ball rolling with a short, little red string (provided) works for 20-seconds and then the ball stops moving altogether and you have to start it up all over again. The string is not attached, so you have to thread the string through the slot every time... just more aggravation, as far as I'm concerned! I never actually got the Dynaflex Gyro Hand Exerciser ever to work the way it describes. While the concept is a good one (if it worked), my overall remark would be to "save your money". In my own experience, it failed (or I failed, and had no patience with it). It didn't take me long to rewrap this item and ship it back to the Returns department. Save your time and money, and look elsewhere into less complicated ways to regain wrist strength and mobility. I have since learned that, in order to get this Gyro hand exerciser to work or spin, you need to buy the starter, separately. However, I personally, do not plan to buy the additional starter.

Absolutely adore! Used to sell these years ago in a novelty shop and haven't seen in years and when my artist daughter started complaining about having pain in her wrist I knew she needed one of these, and this was just as I remembered. Great balance and bearing are good, not a knock off, the real deal. Our doctor was very happy she found just the right thing to give her strength backing her wrist. Totally reccomend to anyone with wrist pain

After one of these was used in some of my occupational therapy sessions for tennis elbow, I was very interested in how it could help when used consistently after I had completed the needed therapy sessions. I can confirm like several other reviews that my order only came with the gyro ball and did not include the Varigrip Hand Exerciser as was shown in the product pictures, but that was not an issue for me as I already have one of those and don't need a second one. I can also confirm that the gyro ball that I received was not a "Dynaflex"-branded item but was a Pure Body Logix (PBLX)-branded item. I don't see this as a bait-and-switch situation as I see D'Addario as a very reputable company and trust the brand due to my use of their products in my guitar playing. Overall, this is a solid product but was just not the one for me. It was quite difficult to get the hang of getting it started with the string, but once I got that figured out I was able to get it started on the first try most times. After I struggled to get it started with the string, I did some more research and found the "auto start" versions that do not need a string to get started and instead have an internal spring mechanism that you wind to get it started rotating. I did end up buying one of the "auto start" versions and returned this one as I feel that I was able to be more consistent in getting it started and don't have to worry about losing the string. There is a way to get it started without using the string, but I was never able to get it to work for me.

Honestly like this thing. Really is something to take edge off when you got alot on the mind and I feel more blood flow to my hands and stillness . Always had cold and shaky hands and it's like 100+ degrees outside. Easy to used and have a faster reaction moving my fingers easier to write clearer then before as well as putting a line through a small hook. Tbh I like to fish so I'm on the lazier side. Writing not my thing but filling stuff out at work is easier task. I also been letting family and friends use it with arthritis and seems to help. But I would have to give mine away for results 😔 hope it can someone that needs it for physical therapy will keep updated if I have more results with friends and fam

付属のひもがないとうまく回転がかからず使用できない。解説には用手的に回転することも可能だというようなことが書いてあるが、はっきりいってうまくいかない。日本人にとってはもうひとまわり小さくてもいいと思う。これだと女性には扱いにくいだろう。ギタリストよりも野球のピッチャーやテニスプレイヤーがスナップを鍛えるのに向いているのでは？
