Husband is T1D and it is hard to tell with these zero drinks now being served at many restaurants over diet drinks. These are a true lifesaver to be able to know for sure that he is being served a drink without sugar. Works in seconds and are easy to discretely use to give us peace of mind.

It is a small package but it really works! Wonderful for when we are out and about and need to make sure soda is truly diet and not full sugar. These strips are easy to use - just dip, wait for a few moments and then compare on the box! Will definitely be buy these again soon!

I’m very impressed with these. They are very accurate and already saved me 2x!

Upon receipt, I tested the strips with plain water (control), a cup of water with malitol syrup (sugar free imitation honey), and water with real honey (full natural sugar). The control (water) did not change at all. The imitation honey remained blue, although brighter. The real honey instantly became brown. I purchased this after ordering a diet soft drink and getting a full sugar version. That experience caused my sugars to rollercoaster for the next two days. I am usually a water drinker, but due to migraines, I will purchase coffee or zero sodas for the caffiene. Getting a full sugar version has only happened to me about 4 times in the last 3 years, but its enough to want to avoid forever. These strips give me that peace of mind. The package comes with two small canisters. I gave one to my father. The cost is negligible. Its convenient and worth the investment. I keep mine with my glucometer.

These work and have been a lifesaver for my wife! She has Type 1 Diabetes and many times has been served regular soda. She keeps the strips in her purse and when she got a fountain drink that was supposed to be diet but tasted funny to her she tested it. Right away it came back that it was regular soda. This saved her a headache with her blood sugar later and we were able to let the gas station know and they did have regular soda hooked up to the diet. It does happen unfortunately. This is worth the money for our peace of mind.

I can't believe I had not heard of these before! They are amazing. I have been mistakenly given sugary soft drinks many times, mostly because the staff members did not pay attention when I would ask for sugar free drinks. I am in the Dominican and asked for a Diet Coke, they brought me a pop I tasted it and said this doesn’t taste like diet so I tried a strip and it turned the dark colour. Called the server back and said this isn’t diet, I am type 1 dietetic I need diet it’s not a joke so she took it and brought me another pop, said this is diet so I tried a other strip and it turned light blue!!
