This is the best harness leash that I've been able to find for my little kitten. Very cute adorable and durable. My kitten never got free from it. It is able to hold your kitten in. She enjoys going out in it. Worth the money because my kitten never gets loose from it

I got this for my kitten. He's an indoor cat, but I like to take him outside from time to time. I don't want to just let him loose, we live on a country road, and roads are not for pets.... Hence, the need for a harness and leash. My review is past tense, because I got this quite some time ago, and my cat has since outgrown his harness and leash. It look so pretty on him. He's an orange tabby, and I got him the dark green one. Anyway, the harness was a perfect fit. It needs to be, so they can't wiggle out of it. It worked perfectly. I was able to step him very easily into it after I sized him up the first time. After that, it was just step in, snap it up and go. So quick and easy! It was a very good, strong material. You can easily wipe it down to clean it. I never felt I needed to wash it, a quick wipe and it was good to go. The leash was perfect as well. Good and sturdy. Be sure to measure, so you get a harness that leaves your pet room to grow (if your pet isn't grown), but not too much room. Because you can make adjustments, my cat was able to get a good amount of use from his harness before he outgrew it. We have many, many picture of him outside, wearing his little hunter green harness. This is a really good quality harness. I'm glad I got it!

Got this for our kitten Pinot when he was about 12 weeks old and slightly over 3.5 lbs, so he could safely join us on walks with the dog. Once he got the hang of walking with the harness he did fine. It wasn’t a super tight fit at his size then, but since it’s step-in he wasn’t able to escape. A couple of drawbacks; the clip is huge and it hangs to one side, I thought since we’re at the smallest tightness setting but it’s the same now that he’s 16 weeks and he’s almost outgrown the S. The design seems somewhat thrown together. The plastic closure could be half the size (centered regardless of cinching) and it would still work for a kitten or smaller cat. The other issue is the slider that adjusts the fit. It works but when the cat pulls hard it just loosens, and it’s a real pain in the ass to re-thread. For what I paid it does the job and I’ll donate it once he’s ready for the next size up. Will update this with pictures or video. Update 7/18/23, Pinot (age 24 wks) just outgrew size S, he currently weighs 6 lbs and the velcro was holding him, but just barely. We transitioned into the same harness size M, which fits well now but also gives him room to finish growing. He got used to the harness and shows no sign of slowing down. He can balance well enough to partially climb a tree - only to eye level (so far) but the long leash gives us the control so he can't get too far out of reach. He seems to really enjoy the outside world, and we get the peace of mind that he's safe. He hasn't tried to escape but it seems a very secure fit. Still the same issue with the oversized fastener (same size as our 40'lb dog's harness) but increasing our review to **4.5 stars*** since he's getting larger too, so it no longer pulls him off balance. GET THIS HARNESS!!!

When I was researching harnesses for my indoor kitten, I wasn't sure about the sizing - even after (somewhat) managing to measure the kitten. After first trying the XS cat harness from rabbitgoo (was too big), I ordered this kitten harness (size S) for my now 4 months old tabby (~4 lbs). I hope this review helps others who are also struggling about which type of harness and size to get. Thanks to the well made velcro piece, it is much easier to put on a fast moving kitten, than the harness for bigger cats. The velcro is smooth and strong, and of the 'quiet' kind (my kitten responds well to the sound). The buckle and leash are of good quality, too. At first, I was worried about putting on the harness too tight, however, my Houdini kitten manages to get out of it if there is basically any wiggle room. Now I start out putting it on tighter to avoid the Houdini move, and then make sure it's not too tight and adjust accordingly, if necessary. It might look tight in the picture, but I can easily fit 2 fingers in between. We started out inside the house, and after a few days of practicing (and being confident enough that the harness will stay on) we progressed to the back yard. It's fun to see the kitten's curiosity and joy when going outside. The buckle and carabiner of the leash add a little bit of weight, so the targeting for jumps takes a little adjustment time, but doesn't seem to be too bad, and ok after a while. We have had the harness for ~4 weeks, and used it most of the days. Even though the kitten has grown since we got the harness (from ~3 to ~4 lbs), we are still using it in the tightest setting. I am happy with how well it is made for the price and can recommend.

Seems well made but too small. I first purchased the medium for my smallish cat - way too small. So, after measuring carefully I ordered the large - still too small. A short strap with snaps would solve the problem - not sure where to get one. i will measure again.

These harnesses are the BEST! I love that they are really durable but soft for the cats. I have also used this with gauze to cover stitches that my cat needed between her shoulder blades, it worked better than a cone! While it is not advertised in this way, these also work for when my cats are anxious about storms and etc. The design is great and because it really encapsulates the upper body so there is no slipping out of it with it's snug fit and no choking issues. I feel safe taking my indoor cats out and about in them. They are easily washable and look great on my cats! While I primarily use these for when we go to the vet, I have tested the reflectors with a flashlight and they are great! I have one for each of my 3 cats and they have their own colors.

The harness fits good on my cat, and it seems escape proof so far. The construction of the harness is pretty good. Happy with my purchase.

Ich habe das Geschirr für unsere Kitten (damals 16 Wochen) gekauft, damit sie ab und zu mal raus dürfen. Das Anlegen des Geschirrs ist kein Problem, aber man sollte nicht zu vorschnell sein. Ich habe mit meinen 2 Wochen zuvor jeden Tag zu Hause Anlegen geübt. Erst schnuppern, dann rumliegen lassen, dann Mal anziehen für 2 Minuten und gleich wieder aus und alles mit ganz vielen Leckerlies!! Es muss sich bei der Katze von Anfang an ein "gutes" Gefühl einspielen. Dieses Video ist noch eines der ersten und wie man sieht, sind die Katzen auch noch recht tappsig im Geschirr. Anfangs: Sie laufen "steif", wirken unbeweglich und wollen nicht springen oder ducken sich auf den Boden. Oder gehen rückwärts. Eine meiner Kitten ist nach dem Anlegen sogar einmal zur Seite einfach umgefallen🤣 alles nur Show. Wenn man dran bleibt und dann auch mal spielt, während sie das Geschirr tragen, merkt man einen Unterschied. Inzwischen laufen springen und toben meine Kitten auch im Geschirr. Aber sie müssen sich an das neue Körpergefühl gewöhnen. Also einfach anziehen und raus - ist nicht. Sitz: das Geschirr sitzt gut, ist weich und lässt sich etwas einstellen zum Anpassen. Es sieht so aus, als wäre es am Hals zu lang geschnitten oder der Katze zu eng, aber das täuscht. So lange die Katze unsicher ist, macht sie einen kurzen Hals. Ich hatte diese Bedenken auch am Anfang und habe mehrmals mit dem Finger die Enge am Hals kontrolliert. Inzwischen sieht alles normal aus. Leine: ganz OK. Stabil und trotzdem leicht. Die den Anfang von der Länge ganz gut. Werde mir aber trotzdem noch eine längere Leine zulegen zum Wechseln, wenn sie mutiger sind. Tipp: damit die Katzen nicht vor der Tür maunzen, weil sie immer raus möchten... Geschirr anziehen, Katzen in Transport-Korb und über den Korb nach draußen bringen. So fehlt die Verbindung "Eingangstür-Draußen". Hab ich von der Tierärztin. Und funktioniert! So langsam wachsen unsere jetzt raus und ich werde dieses Geschirr nochmals kaufen. Für uns eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
