Easy to Set Thermostat
This is a much simpler thermostat to use and schedule for myself. Looks nice

Ok but not for amatuers
Not for consumers no Instructions for installing had to.hire someone to install it. Works well after installed.

HVAC thermostat is probably not the problem
I ordered a Trane thermostat tcont803as32daa to replace the original. I received a tcont302as42da. The box did show that it was a universal, but the information on the website did not mention that detail. Big problem is that old thermostat wiring would have to be rewired to accept the new, universal thermostat - not a plug and go. I wasn't totally sure if the problem was the old thermostat and decided to return it and call a technician. The old thermostat was good. The problem was the condensation tray was full and the float valve shut down the air conditioner unit by disabling the thermostat (the thermostat was blank and would not display). The technician said that usually the thermostat is the last item to fail. 3 stars because Amazon did everything right except to ship the correct part. Easy to return.
