OUSTANDING RESULTS!
This product is freakin amazing. Ignore the negative reviews, those are people who have no clue. I ran one can through my 2012 Jeep Liberty V6 that was getting 12-16MPG and had poor pedal response and no acceleration. I had put plugs and wires, air filter because we just bought it for my daughter and it had 118k miles on it. We took compression test and it was fine. Narrowed it down to possible carbon buildup. Well CARBON BUILDUP INDEED! This thing smoked during the entire can during idle and almost none when driving. Immediate increase in acceleration. Fuel mileage restored to 15-19MPG, which for 118k miles is good enough! I felt the car had more to give so today (a week after the first can) I ran a second can through. This time it did not smoke during idle, but on the road test it burped quite a bit of smoke and the check engine lite came on and went off. no big deal. I was right, she did have more to give! I got MORE acceleration the 2nd time! At the time of writing this, I did not have the mileage into it to retest the MPG, but I will this weekend. I suspect 16-20MPG now. FREAKIN AMAZING STUFF for under $40! NO brainer!I also ran a can through my son's 2014 Chevy Sonic 4cyl (68k miles) and it did not smoke at idle. During the road test, It was sputtering badly to the point I had to use manual shift to rev up the RPM's. Check engine lite blinking. I stopped, let the engine recover and pulled out onto the main road. It started to accelerate and then almost died. I lost all power momentarily. Then this Hiroshima cloud came out the tailpipe, HOLY CRAP WAS THAT A MASSIVE DENSE CLOUD! Afte that, it cleared up and once again, we got the same results, much better acceleration and a 2.4MPG increase, it now gets 29MPG city! (prior was 26.6MPG).I ordered 2 more cans to run through my 2012 Silverado with 788K and my wife's 2017 wrangler with 50k.These cans are worth the investment, you immediately get it back and then some in recaptured MPG, let alone the better performance factor.

What's important to know? It works, but....
I used this product on my 2012 Porsche Cayenne, 3.6L V6 naturally aspirated engine. It is extremely easy to use, following the instructions. My car has over 50,000 miles on it and this is the first time the direct injection engine has had any intake valve cleaning. Again, following the instructions exactly, my car threw the check engine light (CEL) during the installation and later during the 10 min ride (after the 30 min waiting period after installation). Fortunately, I have a code scanner and was able to erase all the DTCs. After this was done, the engine was noticeably different - much better throttle response, faster acceleration, smoother idle and overall operation. It has always started easily and quickly, so no improvement there. For the price, it was a great treatment that actually provided an improvement. I wish I had a bore scope as I would have done a before and after video to confirm it cleaned the valve seats and possibly the valves themselves. I waited about a month and bought a second can as I wanted to make sure I got all the valves and cleaned them as much as possible. This is an effective product and is possibly 10x cheaper than having a shop media blast your intake. For the price, its worth a try - an auto parts store can probably clear any CEL or codes you got from installation. FYI - the codes are from the engine "missing" while it ingests this product. Codes could clear on their own after driving for the 30 min they recommend.

Easy to use
Easy to use and does make a difference to remove the intake valve deposits.

The provided application kit is well thought out. Easy one person job. Take it easy at first.
2016 Mazda CX5 with SKYACTIV GDI engine and 56k miles. Thought it was time to clean the intake valves as a preventive measure. I bought this kit because I liked the thought that went into it with adapters and flow control devices to make the job easier and they did. I used the silver flow control device for my 4 cylinder engine then assembled tubing and yellow straw as directed. Then I loosened the air intake tube just upstream of the throttle body, inserted the curved yellow straw as directed, reassembled the air intake tube, idled the engine, locked the can button and started injecting the solvent until it ran out. Then it was a simple matter to remove the straw and button everything back up.I noted that with the silver flow control I did not choke the engine so it idled smoothly during the process. The car started right up but I made the mistake of not taking it easy to burn off any excess fluid and I stepped on it to test. Big mistake. The car stumbled, threw a code and went into 10 mph limp mode. Got home, erased the code and all was well. Lesson learned. In the end, the process was so easy that I won't hesitate to do it at every oil change.

Direct injection carbon cleaner
Seems to work better than most direct injection carbon valve cleaner. This product will through a bunch of codes, but clears up once completed and used as directed.

Great kit and adapters
I liked the total kit, great way to meter flow. I used the blue cone and just pulled out a vacuum line that seemed ideally positioned at the mid point of my Audi A4 intake manifold (metal flex fuel manifold on a 2013 A4). Used the smaller flow restrictor. Engine vacuum kept the fitting sucked up to the port on the manifold. I also later used this adapter from the kit to spray some CRC intake valve cleaner but had to manually spray and release vs this kit where you just let it flow. As for its ability to clean I cannot definitely make any claims, as in my case I first removed the manifold and did a mechanical cleaning since my valves where heavily caked with carbon deposits and I ran this through as a follow up. Anecdotally the engine runs better after all this but not sure it could have done much by itself if I had not already did some manual cleaning by hand. I would say this will be a part of my maintenance moving forward on my vehicles with gdi engines so I don’t have to manually clean valves for a while. As for value, this is really expensive for what it is and my satisfaction is based on the included fittings and ease of use…and that I was able to attach the fitting to the straw on the CRC valve cleaner can and get some more mileage out of the package.
