Therapist's Choice® Basic Massage Face Cradle Cushion (Black)

Just what I expected and wanted.

A pretty good replacement for a well used face cradle cushion. Soft and fluffy enough for now, we shall see how long it will last with daily usage. I'm a busy acupuncturist and use these guys daily and finding one that my picky patients like is hard. So far so good. And best part it was next day shipped. My patient had accidentally broke the face cradle holder, which was a pretty inexpensive replacement itself, but the problem with that one was that i was mostly made of plastic. This one on the other hand is mostly made of metal, which I feels should be more durable in the long run. If the plastic one lasted about 3 years, than I hope this will last twice as long. Here's to crossing my fingers. Shipped the next day, when I needed it.

Good value for the price

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Attempted to use it on a regular bed, although my girlfriend felt claustrophobic and the pad was very firm - it took some effort to reach a comfortable position just to have it bounce your neck back up to being uncomfortable. Won’t recommend for at-home massages. Firmness: The pillow was very firm, with not a lot of hold as far as shape goes. It seemed to want to bounce up with force, rather than sinking in like memory foam. Comfort: It did cradle the face well, although I felt my cheeks squish into my nose and limit my breathing.

I bought it as a present for my girlfriend because she loves massages. She has a slight kyphosis in her cervical/thoracic region so her upper body is always tight. This tends to give her headaches, and affects her posture. A good way to relieve that tightness is to give her a massage. I learned most of my techniques from Youtube, but they seem to do the job fairly well. Since I do not actually own a massage table, she just placed the face cradle slightly off the bed. This allows her to use the face cradle, and be able to breathe. The face cradle itself is very nice. It's finish helps spilled lotion with a quick wet wipe. When I opened it, there was no smell to it. I have been using it for a month now and it still looks brand new. I expect it to last a very long time. TLDR; Pros -Looks great -Easy to clean -Soft, comfortable -Cheap Cons -None

There’s one major drawback for me. The face cradle is quite firm. It’s also on the small side. The cushion is so important for clients who spend time face down. The sinuses can become easily irritated from too much pressure.

I purchased this to use at home so my wife and I could keep our head and neck straight for massages. It works as advertised. It is definitely a nice addition for giving massages in your home. It is small enough to put in a pillow case or wrap a blanket or other soft material around it to add some comfort and still maintain it's functionality. It is also small enough for easy storage. I recommend purchasing this in conjunction with a nice massage oil and give them both a test run! Product packaging was just fine and arrived on time as usual with Amazon Prime. Overall it is a nice product.

It's good and what I wanted, I just wish it didn't have any velcro on the underside.

Inadequate quality, expensive compared to purchasing at other apps

Aun no lo he usado, se ve que funciona bastante bien, el material y la hechura son muy buenas. Espero que dure lo suficiente, doy terapias de rehabilitacíon en una camilla que no tiene descansa cara por lo que esto creo que va ser excelente, solo cubrirlo con una toallita deshechable cada cambio de persona. Estoy satisfecha con la compra.
