Bought these to quick swap my non-locking latches. Had to send back for the larger size. The locks work well and the latches were a perfect fit, the plastic feels strong and the squeeze clips have strong springs. It may not be the best security method, but it is a vast improvement over no locks for the price. I used these in conjunction with Pac-Lock trailer hitch hidden shackle pin locks on the case hasps and I was confident in that setup. NOTE: These are NOT key retaining but you can buy or make inserts to fix that.

the tsa lock kit i ordered along with the bow case was perfect! arrived on time & the instructions to install the kit was simple & a snap to install. good, well built quality product that is made better than commercial suitcases. if i ever need to buy another one, it will be an skb!

These are great replacement locking latches for the SKB case I use! The installation was easy and the locks are solid. I realize that even steel plated safes are not 100% secure from would be thieves...However, and the ONLY reason I gave a rating of 4 instead of 5 is because the ease of installation demonstrated just how easy it is for ANYone to remove these locking latches just as easily...Again, I realize this is NOT the means by which to expect 100% security as it is a briefcase style case, but this is my just my opinion and perhaps yours will be the same. I certainly do not want to carry around a steel safe when I carry my valuables, but still. OVERALL great product that adds to the great SKB case!

Works perfectly, the airline attendant recognized and informed the policeman, who did the content check for TSA, that the locks were approved. The perfect complement to a SKB case if you are planing to get into a plane with it. Still don't understand why can't my arrows be stored with the bow during the flight, but that is a different story.

I installed these, all it takes is a pen to punch these latches. Definitely recommend a padlock for these cases. However, my biggest disappoint was in the durability 9f the lock. I installed then onto my case, locked it and then attempted to open it with it locked. With about the same amount of force I use on the other latches I snapped the locking tab and the latch came right open. I checked the underside of the locking latch and found out the locking table was a small tab aroun1/16" thick. This is 1/16" plastic providing security for my 2000 dollar bow. Very disappointed in these locks.

I bought this to add locks to 3 of my skb bow cases. They are really easy to install.

Great product that I used for my SKB pistol case. Though likely not as secure as a master lock, these provide adequate protection from theft. The locks are a little stiff upon first use. Great for traveling compliance

These locking clasps for the SKB iSeries case I have are awesome! I would have loved to have them originally on my compound bow case, but installing them was a snap and the added security of keeping my expensive (and dangerous to those who don't know how to use it) bow secure when I am not around makes me feel better about these little safeguards.
