SEI Furniture Prentice Glass Top Sofa Console Table, Dark Cherry/Black

I'm delighted with the quality of this table, and very happy that the legs are actually wrought iron. I had hoped they would be, but for the price I didn't expect too much. The table is beautiful and looks so nice in my living room that I just had to review it!I bought it to put my plants on, and it's every bit as nice as the photos and lends a lovely cozy look to the space under my windows. I have lots of cherry wood and wrought iron in that room, and it works beautifully!One tip: Make sure that to begin with, you only loosely screw the legs onto the table top, then put the bracing piece across the bottom. Tighten the legs after the bracing piece is secure. Doing it this way will give you the flexibility you'll need to fit the pieces together easily.It took about 10 minutes to put it together and it's very stable. I've gotten lots of compliments.

This table is more beautiful than the pictures. I love it. The perfect size, shape and color for my entryway. Even the price was much better than I've seen in other places. I'm thinking of purchasing another one for my office. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Great Value.

We looked at many coffee tables online and in stores and this one had the best price point for what we wanted. Assembly is quick and easy. I have only one minor complaint: the allen wrench needed to screw the parts together is too soft and won't survive the entire assembly--we were able to get 8 of the 12 screws in tight. But, the unit is solid with only 2/3 of the screws. I needed a good set of allen wrenches anyway. ALL the screw holes lined up, not like some pieces where you have to drill a new hole or have someone push pieces together while the other screws. Looks good.

I had previously ordered a table from Overstock and it came with a damaged top, then bought one at a local furniture store that didn't look good when I placed it in the room, so finally saw this table on Amazon and ordered it. It was perfect for my room - just what I was looking for and I was so delighted that I ordered the side table as well. The price of the table was so reasonable compared to all the others I looked at and it is well made. Very pleased with my purchase!

This item arrived quickly and with simple assembling it's in great shape. Elegant and beautiful. The pity is the glass for the top came in cracked at the edge, as you can see in our attached images. Giving a 2 star hoping the seller will see this review and send me a new piece of glass so I don't have to dissemble it and return then buy another one. If anyone knows how to reach out to them, please advise. Thanks.New top glass was sent and the product is overall very good.

While there's no such thing as heirloom-quality assemble-it-yourself furniture, for $132 I consider this table somewhat of a bargain. The "wrought iron look" is achieved with square steel tubing, finished in a roughly-textured, semi-gloss black paint, with dry-brushed gold accents on the tubing edges. Thankfully, the gold is not overdone. The wood finish shown in the living room setting will only be duplicated if you set the table in your driveway at high noon on a bright, sunny day. In your living room, it will appear darker (the rounded edge, which is the MDF, is fairly close; it's the veneer top that's darker. In our living room, the table sits at the juncture of two large picture windows, thereby being as light as it will ever appear in the real world. In a windowless location, it will be substantially darker than illustrated. Assembly tip: when fastening the legs to the upper frame, don't tighten them fully; when you add the bottom struts, you'll need a bit of "wiggle room" in order to align the struts. The main reason my rating wasn't 5-star is that the wood top is screwed to the metal top frame quite off-center, i.e. there's a much shorter overhang on one end than the other. I will probably eventually unscrew the top and drill properly aligned pilot holes, but it's liveable as-is. FYI, the center ball decoration screws in to the strut assembly, so you could either delete it or substitute another bauble of your choice, if you are so inclined. A finale note: the glass top is great in small living rooms, as the carpet showing through below lends an open, airey look.

Very easy to put together. Get all pieces out and do an inventory first. The bag of parts is one end of box or other. I was unlucky and opened wrong end first, paniced then emptied box and found them. My son put it together but you just have to make sure legs are turned out right. I would clean the wood top, insert area, and glass before setting up. I did have some dust, especially on the beveled insert area for the glass. This is a beautiful and elegant table

The color of the wood is exactly like the picture. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. I also had purchased the matching end tables and now considering buying the matching sofa table. One thing the description did not tell you, it has adjustable feet to set it level on any surface. The only bad thing I have to say is about the allen wrench they send to assemble the table, it is so poorly made it is just enough to do one table. I needed to use a new wrench with each table I put together, but that is a bad tool not a bad table.
