Q: Do these socks have cusion along the bottom of the socks ?

Well, I have worn a variety of compression socks (20-30mmhg) for about two years now, ranging from $9 to $45 a pair. I’ve been wearing my first pair of Sparthose Compression Socks 20-30mmgh for 9 hrs now, and I have to say these are the best I have worn. I realize others said there is no cushion for these socks but, in my opinion they have cushion and a seamless achilles’ heel and arch support (which I really need) and have not seen in other brands I’ve bought. They also have the right amount of thickness. My calves are large and I wear a size 8.5 shoe so I bought the L/XL which are perfect and have a little extra room not to be binding, but I think they are stretchy enough to fit larger sizes comfortably and you won’t break a finger trying to get them on. They also have great compression. I’m just an average person, I do not work for or have any affiliation what-so-ever with this company and I’m not getting paid for my review in any way. It’s just my honest opinion.

Technically L/XL but it depends on your compression desire. I would buy both and see which ia more comfortable for you. Returnt the other.

I have a 16 inch calf, and the L/XL is a great fit. I like these better than all the other compression socks I've purchased.

Q: Will these also protect from uv rays?

No, never worn these except in long pants. But having had these on and wearing for a while I think you would be safe with the UV rays. They are not thin at all.
