Sturdy
I have installed this on the front of my mountain bike. The mechanism used to screw in the mount is very high-quality and I liked that a screwdriver was not necessary. Although it has a mostly plastic chassis, it is very sturdy and holds my phone well; if I put it into a position it does not move throughout the ride (although this is to be expected, I have found it was not the case with my previous mounts). The phone-holding system works very well, and I can install my phone with only one hand. It is a much faster method than both of my previous phone mounts. The lock mechanism also works very well, however I have found it already has enough strength to hold my phone without having to enable it. Another quality Lamicall product which I would recommend.

Very sturdy. Good quick release mechanism.
[Edit: top notch customer service too! I had a problem where the body came apart at the bottom due to faulty screw fixing and I emailed the short address for the company and I got an immediate reply with an order to send a replacement and it arrived within 2 days. Perfect!]Like you I read reviews about this and the praise they give us well deserved. Fitting with just one bolt was very easy. The clamp works very smoothly, you just pull up one of the top corners and all the corners move out making putting in or taking out your phone easy peasy.Things to note:* If your phone is big and has a thick case, you might struggle to get it completely in. For me, I just take my phone out from its case - problem solved.* The unit itself does not have a quick release from the handlebars, so it would be a faff transferring it between bikes. I guess their solution is "buy two" 😉.* It's adjustable in every direction, so you can set it just right for you.

Sturdy and good quality, especially for the price.
I've only used it once, but I really like it. It's very sturdy and grips my 6.7 inches with ease. It wasn't big enough when not extended and was a little bit stiff to pull but I soon managed to get it to the right size. Getting it erect was a bit of a pain, but they do supply some rubber which can be inserted into the hole to give it more girth. I didn't notice any unwanted movement when it was attached to my handlebars and it stayed rock solid with even a couple of bikers I was with were impressed and asked if they could try it out on their equipment. There's even a red floppy thing at the back which keeps it locked to its extended size. It's great that you can rotate it as well. I'm looking forward to using this phone holder on my bike rides.*Update. Not had much chance to go out, but the clip kept coming loose and the closing handle wouldn't tighten. I've had to remove this and just use a normal thread and bolt which has done the job nicely. Still a good piece of kit, but the design for securing it to the handlebar needs some thought.

Easy, sturdy and works fine on a motorbike
I had a RamMount prior to this but it went with the sale of my bike. I was searching for a suitable alternative and almost went for the QuadLock but couldn't stomach the chunky case or the price. The Lamicall Phone Holder has a quick release style compression connection which allows you to relatively easily swap it between bikes. This proved really handy while my Tiger 800 was in for a service. Simply switched out to the loan bike and allowed me to get across London with ease (or as easy as London ever is).I was a little worried that the clasp wouldn't fit around the fairly thick handlebars on the Triumph Tiger but as you can see in the photo it works very well. The phone holder works when you push the phone into the mount in an upward direction. This mechanically opens the phone mount up. Once seated you release the upward pressure and the mount automatically grips your phone. To ensure it's secure there is a red lock switch on the back of the unit that stops the mount from opening. This is a little stiff to start with but that does give you a little more confidence in the product. So it's certainly less hassle than the mounts with the rubber clasp to hold your phone in place. It's probably a little more effort than a quad lock but not significantly and most of all you don't need a proprietory phone case. All in all, I can't fault it.

Excellent
This mount is really very good, its well made, and it doesn't budge at all, I've been over rough ground, pot holes, up and down curbs, all with no problems. It will hold a big phone, I have a galaxy S24 ultra in a mous case and it holds that just about.

Very sturdy, worth the money.
The media could not be loaded. This product is very good. It holds the phone pretty well amd has a lot of rubber pieces to fill in any space you might have with thinner bars. Owning RENTHAL FATBARS, I only used 2 pieces of rubber when the phone holder was attached onto the thin part of my bars. Could not attach it towards the centre as I wouldnt be able to tighten and close the phone holder securely in place. It is a little bulky but at least I am sure that my phone wont be flying anywhere. I have a Samsung S10 and there is still some space for bigger phones. Price is a little steep but I would say that its worth it since its much cheeper than having to buy a new phone if you was to save a few £ and get a cheaper and less reliable phone holder.

Feels ok so far
I use this on my 600cc motorcycle and so car it's holding up. Slightly awkward when locking it to the handlebar, otherwise good product.
