I found a very small land turtle 2 years ago the size of a small egg and I have been trying all types of land turtle food he didn't like any of them he ate strawberries and romaine lettuce from time to time and I saw your item and he LOVED it clean his bowl twice in one week the pic isn't good but that's him cleaning out his bowl

With the summer temp warming the turtles are becoming active. For my group of turtles this is offered as a treat along with their usual feed. They have become aware of the bag and will come up and take from my hand.

This makes for a great way to alternate my turtles' food. They love the worms, but mostly the shrimp and crickets. To get the shrimp and crickets, though, you have to go through too many worms that just end up rotting in the tank.

Good food for tortoises

I crushed this into a powder and mixed it into my gargoyle geckos pangea food to give them insects when I don't have live ones. I like that shrimp are in this for the cartenoids, but don't give these uncrushed to small reptiles as the shrimp are a bit tough.The price is good for what you get and it is fresh. Yes there is a smell, but once you know the difference between a dried insect and a decaying insect, it is easy to know if it is bad. Put some in a small bowl of water if you want to know the BAD smell 😂. They do include little silicone packets to keep them dry and you definitely want to keep them dry!These also would be good as a chicken treat because of the shrimp having antioxidant cartenoids vs just mealworms alone.
