I have been taking Digest-A-Zyme for about 15 years. It truly is a superior digestive enzyme supplement. I have been taking digestive enzyme supplements for 20 years. What is vital to an enzyme supplement is that it is a full spectrum enzyme supplement that breaks down fats, proteins, and sugars all the way down to the cellular level. This is exactly what this enzyme supplement does. Also, most Enzyme Products do not contain Peptidase. Peptidase is necessary to be included in a Digestive Enzyme supplement because while Protease does break down protein into usable amino acids, Peptidase is necessary to be included to break down Protein all the way down to the cellular level. So when I was looking at the ingredients for Digest A Zyme, I wanted to make sure that it included not just Protease enzymes, but Peptidase enzymes as well. When I read that Peptidase was included, I knew that the formulator knew what he was doing! I believe that unless you are eating a 100% raw diet, that a Digest Enzyme supplement is the most important supplement you can take. Digest A Zyme is one supplement that I won't go without!
