Great for holding the ironing pad on the board when you you are ironing a large quilt that you’ve just made and need to iron the seams!

They camp on well
I would have given 5 stars but we wanted the ironing board cover tight - no wrinkles to occur - so I had to take a sewing tuck or two in a couple of the straps and stick down 2 others so they wouldn’t slide open more.

Holds and keeps ironing board cover from pulling off board.
Over a period of time, the elastic around the ironing board cover stretches to the point that, when you move the item you are ironing, it pulls the cover up as well. The cover is in otherwise excellent condition. These elastic straps hook at intervals under the board to each side of the elastic. It's like having a new cover. Great idea.
