Bought this ages ago for a project that I've only just got around to doing. First time user for fitting my own cabinet hinges. Although the product is plastic and feels a bit cheap, I can't really fault it. Easy to set up, drill bit is sharp and cuts clean. Easy to use and cheap solution. I'm sure there are better kits, but I needed this for 6 doors so didn't want to spend a fortune.

I just needed it to make one hole for a hinge in a kitchen cabinet door for the new integrated washing machine that has hinges in a different place to the old one (incidentally, how annoying is that? It was a whirlpool replacing a whirlpool. One of the new hinges was close, but still about 2cm off. So now I can only use one screw to hold the new hinge on!! Grrr!). Anyway, this little gadget helped me to drill the new hinge hole. I don't know what people mean they say the instructions aren't clear. I found them very helpful and very clear. Good English and clear diagrams. Very helpful. My one issue was that the minimum hole depth was too deep for my cabinet door. But I fixed that by putting some old washers between the body of the jig and the depth stop. Problem solved!! Very pleased! Saved myself £90 installation charge!

At half the price of Kregs equivalent, the build quality matches and is there to last. Works really well too, a must have for serious drawer cabinet makers.

I'm a DIYer and had ordered replacement kitchen doors from an online company. They came pre-drilled if the position was specified but I forgot to add that on the order for two of the doors. D'oh.Ordered this tool and - problem solved! It was really easy to understand how to use it, and it cut the hinge positions perfectly. I admit I was a bit stressy thinking it was one of those 'best left to professionals' tasks but it was no sweat with this tool. Ideal.

Great value set. Easy to use, just ensure it is firmly clamped to the work piece. The cutting blade struggles a bit and requires clearing out during each cut.Works well for the price

Very pleased indeed with this, much better & cheaper than the kreg one I can’t find!Has location pin to set hinge distance from top/bottom of door. Drill but is super sharp & leaves very clean edges, all Allen keys, pin fit in the base. Can’t fault this item, will buy a spare.
