Macbeth (Shakespeare Graphics) Paperback – July 31, 2011

Well done for those uninterested in reading Shakespeare in all his glory. Love the graphics and it gets the job done. Bought this as a prank gift for a friend who hadn't read Macbeth in school. After she flipped through it, I think she understood it better than I did after spending a semester on it.

Macbeth is not my favorite play by Shakespeare at all but this graphic novel is perfect for students who do not enjoy reading the typical play.

Bought these as a supplementary text for my classroom required curriculum. My students loved reading this version!

Really enjoyed this Macbeth graphic novel. Shakespeare can be daunting especially for children so when I stumbled across these graphic novels I had to give them a try! They exceeded my expectations, Julius Caesar was just wonderful as was Macbeth. I will definitely be gifting this series to young people in our family. Just fantastic illustrations making this accessible without forfeiting famous lines or context. Well done!

Powell changed the identity of the ghost in the famous banquet scene in Act 3 of Macbeth. According to Powell, the ghost is King Duncan. Shakespeare wrote the play with Banquo as the ghost. So, who is this Powell dude that he thinks he can change a major Shakespearean plot point?

I really love this version of a Macbeth Graphic Novel which I would like to see as an animated movie. I highly recommend this seller to anyone.
