Love Palm Oil, fresh and unrefined
I love this red palm oil,Just to get the complaint out the way. Pricey for what I'm used to paying, but I understand where it comes from and how it is obtained, so I don't mind supporting them. Now the good and great.Just got it today, label show June of 2017, fresh!Love the taste, full of flavor, strong and satisfying. Exactly how my father had. Brings back the memories.2 liter is a great amount to last nearly half the year for me.I'm not one of those health craze people trying it, just love my home cook African dishes. Pure, authentic and un altered straight from the source. Will buy again. Thank youPS.May have dark looking portion, don't mind it, just part of the fruit and how it is made.

Surprisingly good!
I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this, but it was a welcome surprise that it didn't have a weird taste or smell. I'm used to the typical Nigerian palm oil, and I'm yet to find that flavor outside of Nigeria, however, this was pretty good. It had a clean taste that enhanced the flavor of my African soups. Will buy again!

Expensive and Separates Quickly
This is extremely expensive for what is considered the cheapest cooking oil in the world. It's also not processed, which should make it even cheaper. What happened very quickly is that the saturated fat particles go to the bottom and create a thick layer that will not mix back into the oil unless you heat it in a water bath and then shake it when it is all melted. That layer is similar to shortening. I enjoyed cooking my Tandoori Chicken using this in a cast iron skillet, but the expense and problems with separation make it too much hassle.

Not of the best quality
It doesn’t taste like palm oil, I think it’s been altered with supplements. Moreover, it’s hard to squeeze out its bottle
