I bought these lentils to sprout I feed to my chickens. They sprouted quickly (within 3 days) and the chickens loved them. I also used about a cup for fresh lentil soup. Turned out great. The lentils cooked good and had a good taste. Big bad and great value for the money.

Taste to me a little week added some spices and greatly improved

I buy them for simple sprouting. I find it convenient to buy a large bag or bags to be shipped to your door instead of searching for organic lentils at the grocery store . I also use mung beans for easy healthy sprouting.

Maybe this is normal but the lentils I’ve purchased in store never had this but there are a good bit of little shreds of broken lentils in this bag. I don’t mind it bc I half blend my soup anyways but just in case it would bother someone else I wanted to note. Otherwise seems to be a great product and would order again due to a decent value and home delivery > grocery shopping. 😊 I hope this was helpful for someone.

I got this product as a treat for my chicks and they absolutely love them! They sprouted within a day after soaking them in water for. 12 hrs then drained and left on the window! Definitely buying again for them!
