Godiva Chocolatier Chocolate Biscuit Cookies Tin Gift Pack

I ordered a 36 count set for my mother-in-law's birthday because of Amazon reviews and then ordered a 23 piece set for myself because I was curious. I was worried about the hot weather but despite some recent reviews, I was surprised to receive the item packaged in a foam insulated double ice packed box! These chocolate covered biscuits are AMAZING! My mother-in-law agreed and she said "They are ABSOLUTELY delicious" and that "They taste so fresh, buttery and crispy," and she is one of the best dessert-maker herself. Due to the Godiva brand name, the assortment presentation, and the dry-ice packaging, she assumed we spent too much and said she'd thoroughly enjoy them. These would make amazing luxurious gift for someone special, and I just wish everyone gets the fresh batch along with the foam insulated packaging as we luckily did.

I have sampled these many times on my travels through Europe, etc., and have always delighted in their excellent biscuits and exquisite chocolate additions. Godiva always pleases.

The chocolate tasted old and the cookies where stale. Very disappointed,especially since I paid so much for them.

Did I like the cookies? They were okay. BUT the packaging was honestly the best part. It comes with Godiva ice packs and a nice styrofoam box, which was a very great transporting method that kept the chocolate from melting, even living in the south. NOTE: they are "chocolate cookies", not really chocolates. So if you are trying to get your girlfriend a nice set of chocolate for valentines, you might want to try another box of actual chocolates.

Delicious! My husband and I nearly fought over them. They don't make the pralines anymore and this is the only way to get them!

The chocolate cookies come in a huge, ice-packing container. The ribbon and gift wrapping are outstanding also: can't beat them.The name rings of 'High Dollar'.That said, I was very disappointed in how SMALL the cookies are. I don't expect one of those huge chocolate-gooey ones from Ur grocery store, but come'on! I think I'd save a bunch of do-ra-me if I get some good OTC bread/cookies in a tin, etal. They have them in the big retail chains, or Rx stores. Take those cookies, wrap them on your own wrap (gift wrapped by U ALWAYS impresses the receiver!>.at least me...it doesn't matter how it comes out; the wrapping, it's the thought someone would make the 'try') Hint: kids and husbands.Anyway, that's my opinion. $ is hard to come by, and as great-granddad use to say...'it all turns out the same way...and the same end.'

Nice cookies, but not worth the high price when compared with Delacre Holiday cookies or Kirkland Belgian chocolate cookies. Small quantity in attractive box. Not comparable with Godiva chocolates.

The Godiva assorted biscuits were delicious. I love the filling that was in some of the biscuits. I would normally buy chocolates for something special to buy for myself, but this was perfect and different. Delicious with coffee or wine.
