A Georgia ex-pat living around the world over the years, I yearned for that authentic barbecue served at Leon's Barbecue in Griffin, GA. Kept looking, never found it, until now. Dave's Famous..hits the mark. Several super market pulled pork barbecue packs are sold that can be strained to only the pulled pork. I've taken several packs of these and added Dave's Famous to the strained batch of pulled pork in a hot pot. Heating and mixing until that old time Georgia Barbecue aroma fills the kitchen and you're back home again. Add some chips, a toasted bun and pickles, crack a Coke and settle back into your time machine. Sho-nuf goodness. Next, we need to find Brunswick Stew. Wink yall.

I use this as my base for my mustard BBQ sauce. I have tried everything and nothing compares. This is sooo good. I am sad that we do not have a Famous Dave’s. I am happy I can purchase here, but pretty expensive. It would be half the cost in the stores, but no stores sells it here.

Was middle of the road on this item, liked the taste but I am not crazy about black pepper and this had way to much in to suit me. Black pepper was not listed specifically but had to be include in the spices category listed on the label.
