Meeple Sprinkles

Bought these on a whim to decorate some treats for a board game party we're having, and I was excited to to see what they were like. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. Colors aren't very vivid, which isn't that bad, but they also taste wretched. I know sprinkles are for looks, but it's nice when they don't taste like paper or bad flour. To me, these were really kind of yuck, possibly because they are bigger than stuff I've used in the past. I'll use them, but I'm adding flavor to the frosting to help disguise the taste. Wanted to like them!

These are really funny. We do game nights all the time, and these little guys always get a laugh. The variety of colors is great, and because they look like little people, you can get really creative with these, even if you're not playing Carcassone... I'm going to try a sheet cake with a map of the world drawn out with meeples!They're big enough that you can stand them up in frosting if you want to and still tell what they are, but they're nice and thin so they're still good eatin'. Halo is coming out soon, so I might do Red vs. Blue cupcakes, picking out the colors for each team! :)

They're super cute. Definitely style over substance as they don't add any flavor or anything, but they also won't detract from whatever flavor you're adding them to. I've been using them for years and love them!

These sprinkles are the beeeest! I know they're from the game Carcassonne, but you could easily use these for when you need a small person figure for your baked goods (which happens more to me than I thought it would). The sprinkles themselves are larger than your average sprinkle, which is great for accenting cupcakes or cookies. I'm excited to use them for Halloween because the white ones seem pretty ghosty! I think they'd make perfect gingerbread men for Christmas cupcakes too, especially since they're large enough to single out the red and green ones.Overall, these are great quality. They're sturdy, colorful and super cute!

These are disappointing. I was so excited to make cupcakes for my games group, but this is not what I expected. First, the colors are dismal. Second, most were broken.I decided to separate the good ones from the bad. In the first photo, you can see the heap of broken meeples. In the second photo, I put the broken bits back in the jar, and they take up 2/3 of the jar! So for this price, you get 1/3 of what is advertised.But you won't even want to use that, because they taste like paste. Or rather, like paste gone bad, if that's possible. Even frosting doesn't cover it up.

I wasn't expecting how large these would be. Unfortunately some were broken (not the fault of shipping, just the nature of the product). For the most part though, this is a cute product and a fun novelty item.

They are cute and I wish they would have been better, but they were harder than rocks and not edible. I had to pull them off the cookies in order not to damage my teeth.
