I purchased these pencils and a coloring book for adults for my Mother who is in a nursing home. I thought it would be something nice for her to do to pass the time. She does seem to be enjoying it. I liked the fact that they came in a nice tin that would protect them from damage and would be easy for her to open. I also liked the fact that the color is on the bottom of the pencil so it's very easy for her to see even if her room isn't brightly lit. I tried the pencils myself so I would be able to write this review. The color goes on nicely. They are soft enough to go on smoothly but not so soft that you have to sharpen them constantly. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The leads break easily when you start to have to sharpen the points. The colors are very good and it goes on well but I've lost a lot of lead from breakage.

I received my order , it arrived when expected. I have to say that I really like these color pencils, they have medium hardness, but still provide that buttery feel when using and blend beautifully. They also sharpen to a nice point without breaking as some color pencils tend to do. They remind me of a bit of Lyra Rembrandt polycolor just a little harder. I only wish you had a wider selection of colors beyond the 24. I will definitely purchase if you eventually produce more colors while keeping the superb quality of this product.

Like so many other adults who live quiet lives (cat ownership is optional), I became obsessed with adult coloring at the beginning of the fad. I've always loved arts and crafts, but I have zero talent. If it's possible to have a negative level of talent, then that's probably closer to my actual level, which is why adult coloring is perfect for me. I get to feel super creative and talented by simply picking out appropriate colors and then smearing it within the correct lines (both of which I still mess up). As part of my obsession, I've become something of a colored pencils connoisseur; I've bought or been gifted 38 different brands totaling over 2300+ pencils. Yet I still remain relatively untalented and am, at best, a knowledgable layman. So please consider my review with that background in mind.I particularly like creamy, oil-based pencils (like Prismacolor Premier, Lyra Rembrandt, or Faber-Castell) and these Colorolio pencils have a fairly similar smooth application to the expensive brands. Some colors are not as vibrant and the pencils are slightly less substantial in comparison to those other pencils I mentioned, but that's to be expected in more affordable pencils. In fact, the Colorolio pencils aren’t just the affordable option; their pencils have some beautiful hues and very little trouble with crumbs or a rough application. I've also found that they handle my sharpener without incident, and while they are skinny, they're sturdy and seem to avoid breaks. I also enjoy the light wood color which reminds me of writing with all those Number #2 pencils of my youth.Considering their affordability and attention to detail, I think these Colorolio pencils are just right for amateur colorers like myself, students, or those looking to expand their pencil collection.

If the leads had not been broken throughout the pencils it would have been nice. Shipping was messed up badly, the tin is so thin (see photo)! Be WARNED... there is only one purple out of the entire tin! I would not get again and I will not recommend to anyone! The colors do lay down nicely, but just not a wide enough range! These could be an awesome product... just don't think that they are there yet!

I was pleasantly surprised by these pencils. Recently I have begun to experiment with a large selection of colored pencils. These are relatively inexpensive for a set of 24 pencils. The Colorolio Colored Pencils for Artists include all the basic colors you will need because you are able to lay the color down from translucent to a deep rich color by layering and blending your colors. I hope they do come out with a larger set in the future. I would recommend these and I would purchase them again.

These are great pencils but the packaging was lousy. The come in a flat tin which was packaged in an oversized padded envelope. The tin arrived dented which made it impossible to open. It took so much force to pry it open that the pencils went flying all over the room, breaking many points. Now I find that as I sharpen the pencils, the tips fall out immediately. I think this is because of the trauma of smashing into cupboards and the floor. The product gives good coverage, the packaging is awful.

They color smoothly, but not a lot of variety in this particular pack of colors. My fault; I should have ordered a larger package.
