CM001 Recording Mic

We have been using a Blue Snowball mike for family Zoom sessions but a Win 11 update means the drivers no longer work. So I looked around for a replacement and while there were a number of similar omnidirectional mikes out there and this one looked good, and economical, some of them seemed to have difficulties with drivers. This one arrived, plug and play, worked perfectly first time, and just, well, works. We have it set up on a long (5 metre) USB extension, and it works perfectly. What more could you possibly want?

I was unsure how effectively this mike would be for picking up the voices of participants at a Zoom conference. I needn't have been worried at all. Those who participated via Zoom remarked afterwards on the clarity and volume of all the voices who were physically present at the hybrid meeting. Everybody commented that they thought I must have been using a very expensive external microphone. There was no problem picking up the voices of people sitting 4 metres away from the microphone. Very pleased with the product.

When too many people are speaking as in 2 or 3 which is important in majority of meetings it cancels out every now and then. If you dont get what i said then this device is perfect for you....

I loved the item, however 4 months after purchase, it just stopped working. Not worth the money.

Like many people, COVID-19 has me working from home and doing a lot of video conferencing. After many meetings with people squinting and turning their head to one side to hear my muffled or echoing laptop mic I thought it was time to upgrade. I didn’t want to go for a full blown mic on a stand or clipped to the monitor so went for this. It’s easy to use, just plug in the USB and you’re away. The sound was immediately 100% perfect. No messing around - MS TEAMS calls are now much easier

Easy to use. Plug straight in and it’s up and running. Good sound quality from speaker.

Good product

Had bought this as mike on my computer was really quiet and needed to film off my laptop camera.. didn’t make any difference from the cheap inbuilt computer mike just fen when up close. Don’t bother: waste of money

I use several group video chats and found this microphone effective during hybrid meetings. Easy to install. The cord is a perfect length for large group tables hosting 10 guests and possibly more.

It’s a vast vast improvement over using built in mics of whatever devices we were using. currently it’s being used in a room of 4-6 people and pick up is decent. Good value.

This is a great product! I had no microphone for my computer. This is easy to install. Works great. I was talking on the phone via computer or zoom meetings in no time. It has on and off capabilities so you can mute it when you don’t want your conversation heard on the other end. You can easily record messages or conversations. It has beautiful clarity.

I use this to record meetings in the room for an AI Scribe. It picks up the conversations pretty well. I like the green/red indicator on the unit to show when it is active. It is easy to mute by touching the indicator to switch it on/off. It was easy to install on my Windows 10 computer--just plug and play with the USB A plug. The price is very competitive with other products, especially when it on discount during Black Friday. Would strongly recommend.
