GOD Tier for its price
One of the best sonic performance you can get for the price but the most impressive part about these headphones are the scalability. These scale crazy good with better front-end gear, pair these with amps and dacs that cost 20X the price, they'd still scale up to give better performance.

Ridiculously good!
Sounds incredible! It will make you question all your expensive audiophile headphone purchases. Worth keeping a pair with you for lifetime

These are my second pair, they are really good.
I like the richness, volume, details, comfort. I hate the fragility. My first pair broke due to me falling asleep while listening to Enya on these. I had replaced the default cushion with thin one's (from Koss itself) the sound output become quite fuller, more richer. I love these.

Incredible value and you need to spend a lot to beat this. Should've bought much before :(
--- In headphone world, these should be called as "Jack of all trades" ---I purchased from another source that basically does what an amazon seller does, import from the USA.Got it for 2700 but I was lucky that time otherwise it usually costs 3400. Of course, it's still costlier than the US price, 25 dollars.I have a Sennheiser HD599 which is probably one of the best budget open-back headphones. I used many earphones like Soundmagic e50, sony XB70, 1More triple driver, LG quadbeat3, VE Monk+.The sonic capability of KPH30i makes my other earphones shallow and couldn't listen anymore. They sound like cheap artists. No chance an earphone under 10k can beat these but my HD599 can compete and win, that too barely. Openness, excellent mids and treble with sufficient bass (Sometimes it rumbles too, but do not expect an earth-shattering bass). Magic is, zero fatigue. All the hype around these is definitely worth and sad that they are not widely available in India. Some say the build quality is bad at wire connection but so far good. Anyway, I will not hesitate a second to buy again if something happens. Comfort is subjective as the headband will be a little tight for more than average heads. It's not a problem for me.Any price above 5k is too much as it costs more than double what it costs there.

The Search is Over
I've always been obsessed with good sounding audio. Since my childhood, sitting in front of my dads HiFi stereo system and listening to Phil Collin's No Jacket Required...I was instantly hooked. This was a thing I needed in my life always. It was an experience, a place to go and become lost in the music. I consider myself an audiophile, and I'm also a musician. I also run a HiFi repair shop, and I hear A LOT of music from a limitless stream of gear on a daily basis. My criteria for a good sounding headphone or sound system has always been immersion factor, or in other words, the ability for the sound to transport me to another place. My first real headphone was the Sennheiser PX100 (Original Model) in White. What an incredible headphone to start my audiophile journey, and one that would prove hard to beat! Intense immersion factor. These could lull me to sleep with a smile on my face without fail every night. Natural, silky smooth, and rich sound. Incredible wide Soundstage. I was deep in the music. I also had friends with the same headphones in high school and we would share the same experience. It wasn't just in my head.I used these extensively for 10 years until they fell apart...and my heart broke when I couldn't find a replacement pair anywhere. I was desperate to find that sound again and went fully down the audiophile rabbit hole. First Sennheiser Momentums, then ATH-M50's, then HD650's with a $800 dac and amp...nothing could satisfy. Nothing had the immersion factor I was looking for. Most were robotic and unnatural sounding...the music was on the surface of my ear instead of in my head. The only exception was the HD 650, however I found them veiled and certain higher frequencies were very fatiguing. They had very little bass. The music felt far away...far enough to be disappointing without a lot of eq.Then I learned about the KPH30i's. So many in the audiophile community swear by this headphone, and I was worried that I would fall for the hype again as with my previous pairs of headphones. I can say with full confidence that these are NOT over-hyped. They're life changing. This is the headphone I've been looking for. It fully replaces my old PX100's and I'll never look back. These headphones paired with my Sony MZ-N707 Minidisc Player and listening to Thundercat's "Drunk" album...will melt your mind. Whatever you were doing a moment before will no longer be important... Find a comfy chair and let yourself disappear in it. It's hard to imagine sound getting better than this...and I honestly don't even care if it can. I don't need anything else. When a headphone makes you laugh out loud at how stupid good it sounds, you found the holy grail.Today I officially retire from my audiophile pursuits and I'm selling all my other gear. I also wont make the same mistake as with the PX100 and will buy a few boxes to future proof myself. I think I might also purchase a few as birthday/Christmas gifts and blow a few minds. THANK YOU KOSS!

Sorprendentes

Surprisingly good sound!
Very open sound, very natural... Can compete against 10x more expensive headphones and will make an audiophile happy.
