Snappy Buttery Flavored Theater Popcorn Salt, 19 Ounce

I’ve been looking for butter flavored salt ever since Jolly Time stopped making popcorn salt. This is the one. Took a chance on ordering it and it’s wonderful. Use it in my cooking and on vegetables. Buttery and salty - great stuff, excellent value.

Some say this is too salty. Personally, I love it. Taste great.

I have a 2.65oz shaker of Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Butter Flavor that I was hoping to replace with this bulk product (just because I hate having a ton of little plastic containers around). Kernel Season's is very light on the tongue and bright with salt coming in more as an aftertaste. I really adore it on frozen veggies in place of butter and salt. With Snappy Buttery Flavored Theater Popcorn Salt my first thought on dumping a bit out on my (washed) palm and licking it off was "man that's salty" and it has a very metallic salt note throughout the flavor experience. That was going to be my headline but I realize it is advertised as popcorn salt and as such salty is to be expected. It's not bad, I think it would be okay on popcorn with some butter flavored oil, but it's not as buttery as I had hoped. I heated up some peas and carrots this afternoon, and they are perfectly edible, but I kinda want to add butter, which defeats the convenience of butter salt for me. When I finish this I'm not going to reorder.

Very happy with the taste. Hard to find something I like that has both butter and salty flavor. This covers both. Liked the size for the cost. I was able to fill my empty shaker and have plenty left.

Hot tip! Open the container and dump it all in a Vitamix like blender and blend it to a finer setting. When this is done, it sticks better and coats the pop.This is our favorite product and we eat pop 3-5 times a week, making 3 batches at a times.We’ve found on our stove top Whitley pop the best process is heat level medium high 6-7, 1/2 cup kernels, 3 tablespoons of coconut oil or avacado, and roughly 3/4 of a teaspoon of this blended salt butter blend IN the whirley pot. Putting it IN the pot vs. sprinkling later is WAY better on coating.Best stuff out there that isn’t artificial or has yellow #600 in it!

hmm its a love hate kind of thing. its a pretty big bottle so it will last. heres my simple grip. this stuff is saltier than actual SALT! how did they manage that i dont know
