Exactly what I was looking for. Only the first night, but it's not too bright or too dim. Took a photo and made the brightness exactly as it appeared with the naked eye.

The design and function of this solar light are exactly what I was looking for. Our flag pole is about 12 feet tall and is located at the lower end of our property, where there is no electricity, next to a shared private road. This light has a built-in full oblique shielding, which complies with our local lighting ordinance. The light is bright and illuminates only a circle of about ten feet in diameter, not lighting up other properties at all. Most importantly, of course, is that it illuminates our flag so respectfully, near a throughway used by our neighbors.

Works great on the Ioen 25ft heavy duty flag pole. Stays on all summer night long(we will see about winter) so far love it.

Looks nice day or night. Ring is compact and doesn't distract from viewing the flag. Lights last very close to dawn. Not as bright as a spot but lights the flag no matter it's position.

Well constructed and very bright LEDs. They seem yo Kast about a year and when you find one like this, it’s cheaper then buying replacement batteries. It illuminates our flag all night!
