Great shade!
I have many sets of glasses that go over our glasses, but I needed some that were lighter weight due to the fact I always need to have them on to avoid headaches. SI have tunnel vision and light sensitivity, an legally blind. For years I had a headache, not headaches, but one never ending headache. No doctor was able to sort out why and it was actually a friend who was a pharmacy technician who said try cutting out the light for 24 hours and see if the headache goes away. So I did, and it worked. If I keep these dark shades on, and sleep in a sleep shade, no headaches. It's amazing. But having my vision glasses + another pair over them on all the time can get weighty on my face. So my wife was hunting down some that would be lighter and these are it. + they're flexible and not fragile. They were shipped to me in only a silk bag to store them in and a padded envelope. I was afraid they were broken, but nope, so 5 stars on sturdiness as well. I wear these over my computer glasses who are slightly larger than my regular vision glasses so not only are these light weight, but large enough to fit over all vision glasses or so it seems. They are an amazing price too, and make things just dark enough but not so dark I can't see so that's perfect. I often hear people say these glasses look unattractive, and being very into style myself, I understand that, but thee is a fix. My wife, being the crafty sort, used jewelry glue to stick some gears and cogs on all my other over glasses, just a few so they're not heavy, and they are suddenly steamunk goggles on which I get tons of compliments. I'll surely do the same with these. I highly recommend!

Never buy prescription shades again!
OK, my headline sounds like a cheesy infomercial, but it's true. I spent years cursing the expense and ineffectiveness of prescription sunglasses. When driving long distances I noticed I was still squinting a lot in bright sunlight. I'm not a doctor, but at least in my personal experience squinting seems to tell my body that it should be sleeping, which made me more tired. I even went as far as to buy prescription sunglasses with the embedded magnets to clip ANOTHER layer of sun protection over the top, but it still wasn't dark enough for my eyes. Then it finally hit me... NO amount of shade will help because full sunlight is still coming in from the SIDES! So I bought this item before my most recent 2500-mile road trip and it was great! Having the sun protection from all angles made all the difference. I found with this product I could wear my regular glasses underneath and I was able to avoid squinting, even driving into the harsh, late-afternoon sun when driving west. I felt more alert and was able to drive much longer stretches of my trip without stopping. The only bad thing is that since they are oversized to fit over your regular glasses, the only thing holding them up is your glasses, which puts extra weight on your frames and therefore extra pressure on the nose pads. But if you're not driving for 10 or 11 hours in a day, that will be a non-issue. Seriously, I highly recommend these over prescription sunglasses. I wish I had searched for something like this years ago.

Great profuct if you wear corrective glasses.
I have had these shades for years. Although they are bulky, they do provide excellent shielding from bright light. The sides even prevent brightness in the peripheral vision areas. I broke one pair, and, someone failed to return another set upon using them in my vehicle. So, this is my second purchase of these great shades.

They work!
I use these glasses in the car. My regular glasses turn dark out in the sun, but they don’t darken if I am in the car due to whatever is in the windshield. So, I bought a pair of these just for the car. They are big, kind of clunky looking, but I never wear them outside….so they are fine. My only tiny complaint is that the lenses are very cheap and if you rub them against ANYTHING, they will mar the lens. They come with a fabric case, but I just toss them in on my dash…..thus the scratches and rub marks on the lens. If you care for them, they should last a long time.

These are my go to Sun Shields...
I have been buying these for years. The "model number" has changed but the product is the same. I wear larger framed glasses and have no problems wearing these over my glasses (I'm a woman). They come in a soft pouch. They will scratch if you thrown them around but will give good use with a bit of care...I buy a few pairs at a time to have them ready if I lose them. I have old pairs all over the house and for use out in the garden, so they never really die until they just wear out (lol!). I live in the Southwest so these are mandatory.

Just like the one's I had to buy after surgery
I found these very hard to put over my eye patch after cataract surgery, but they are exactly like the ones prescribed to me to get after surgery. Frankly, I didn't need to buy this in advance because they were part of the $5 after surgery "kit" that you get when picking up the various eye drops before you even get out of the surgery center. So my advice is to check with your admitting nurse because you may not need to put forth any the cash to buy these in advance. Now I have 2 pairs, one pair cost me essentially nothing and the pair I preordered cost me lots. Both pairs have a blue lens which I don't think is dark enough although apparently that is now the suggested darkest sunglass these days, plus these must be used over another pair of glasses so you are covering up presription or better glass sunglasses with non-prescription plastic lenses that are not distortion free. It isn't exactly easy to see through these
