i received this matrix thermal styling spray about a month ago. The spray came nicely packaged and avoided any damage or tampering during its shipment. The spray also arrived very quickly thanks to amazon prime and the speedy processing of the seller. I personally have very thin hair that damages easily and is prone to a lot of breakage. I always use a thermal spray but i have a hard time finding ones that are not heavy and weigh my hair down. This one by matrix is pretty good. I usually spray it and glide a brush through it to even it out otherwise it feels like i just sprayed hairspray on my hair its a bit sticky once it dries....if i use the brush i cant tell it was ever sticky in the first place. This does not weigh my hair down at all and it gives it a nice protected seal on my style. The smell is also amazing i love it so much and i can smell it throughout the day and its a happy clean smell! I personally really like this thermal spray it was just like the one i had from matrix that they discontinued so i would defintely recommend this spray to others and i plan on purchasing it again once i run out of this one.

I love the smell of this product! It’s just like I stepped out of the salon with fresh new haircut. This is also a styling mist so if sprayed onto dry hair before using heat tools, it feels like you just sprayed in hairspray. It has that same texture which worried me at first. I think I prefer to use a heat protecting cream in wet hair and use hairspray to finish my styling off at the end. I don’t see any difference in frizz control with this product.I’ve been using this product along with Matrix Skinny Queen blowout cream and they work well together, but the two products together are no comparison to the Matrix Vavoom Design Pulse Thermo Glide Express Blow Out which was my all time favorite hair product.This Style Link is a better product than anything else that I have found recently. Just wish they would bring Design a pulse back.

While I haven't used this a whole let quite yet, even at lower temperatures that "burning hair" smell has come on a bit faster than what I would expect from the price and usual quality of Matrix products. In fact, my husband who is usually oblivious to those sorts of things asked me if I was burning my hair on purpose. That said, I love most all Matrix products so maybe I'm still on the learning curve - though I did follow the instructions on the bottle. If not, perhaps just be careful and watch the temp to keep your hair healthy!

My hair is naturally fine and straight so I like this a lot for curling my hair. I don’t love it for straightening though bc it is hairspray.. with hold so I lose some softness. On my daughters naturally curly hair however it is necessary and perfect for any type of heat styling even just blow drying!

I liked the way it felt on my hair. It is a conditioner moose for my type of hair.

This spray is lightweight and easily combed through damp hair to provide heat-styling protection. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because I still prefer Matrix' Design Pulse Thermo Glide for heat protection; unfortunately Matrix has retired that excellent product.

Reasonably priced, easy to use thermal protection but makes hair a little tacky to brush through before blow drying.

I adore all Matrix products. But this one. I cant understand what it does. I don’t like to use it. And I cant return this. It just stay in my cabinet. Just it

I am getting used to this product, at first it felt like trying to blow dry your hair while it was covered in hairspray, less is more I think. My hairdresser used it on my hair and it always feels/looks good.

Matrix heat protector is fabulous, does it’s job without being heavy on the hair.

It’s ok smells nice makes your hair feel sticky.

This product is amazing if you have thick hair which tends to go frizzy. Use it when straightening hair for a smooth result with hair that is protected from heat.
