I learned about Freekeh on a TikTok video and had to try it as a rice substitute. I specifically bought this one because it's exactly what he used and I'm happy I did. I love the flavor of this but what surprised me most was that my picky 10 year old also loved it.For the most part, I use this in place of rice in burritos and rice bowls. My oldest enjoys it in his chicken fajita bowls and my youngest loved it in a pizza rice bowl.I do wish this came in larger bags. It has become a staple in my diet and Amazon is the only place I can get it as no where local sells it.

Been using this along with steel cut oats to make a version of overnight oats with more fiber and a better glycemic index. Adds a nice consistency (cooked of course) and flavor.

Not bad. Used in a home made soup in place of barley. I enjoyed it. They did sink to the bottom and have a tint bit of a chewy texture in it. Overall I enjoyed it.

Love freekeh. It's very healthy, quick to cook (I always use broth instead of water), delicious in pilafs, salads, and soups. But it's hard to find in stores. This brand works well.

This is so yummy. It has a distinct taste. If you like brown rice you’re gonna love this. It cooked just like rice. Directions say to add salt and olive oilThis is gluten so avoid if you’re intolerant. I can’t wait to try new recipes with it.

This Freekeh product can be made in a rice cooker and comes out very well. It is similar to barley or brown rice in texture and has a very high protein content.

Tastes nutty and a bit chewy. But pleasant.
