Lay a lit match to the wick and enjoy 2+ hours of candlelight. These are very well made candles. Uniform in size, with even color, wicks neither too long nor too short, that light instantly and burn without smoke. They fit perfectly in a chime candle holder and burn down without drips. I honestly prefer Biedermann candles to any others

These did not work out for me since the circumference was slightly too wide to fit into candle holders ortherwise the item is quality, no hassle return and refund

These candles are perfect for our carousel that we purchased in Germany. First, they are the right diameter, (1/2 inch) and the are the perfect length. Second, they don't drip or smoke. Third, they are a uniform color, unbroken, and relatively inexpensive. When you read the bad reviews for these candles, you have to wonder. Buy these candles!

These are expensive, based on a cost of about 50-cents each USA. Each one is about 3 inches tall with a circumference of about 1/4 inch. The chime size was less important than the hard-to-find gray color and wax quality needed for my personal project. The candles burned clean, so overall the vendor and item rated a 4 out of 5.

Like this brand and it's a good deal. Colors are true. Can get an indigo blue, for example, which is relevant. I like the fact that the base is a small enough to fit into any holder made specifically for using this type of candle without having to pare it down first.Also, cardboard box, good thing for the environment and it holds up. Gotta love that.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these candles for my Christmas angel chimes based on previous reviewers stating that they are the right size. Although there’s a picture right on the box of the angel chimes that I have, these are too wide and immediately fall over. I have tried pushing really hard, squeezing in the brass bases and dripping wax into the bases to make the candles stick, but they just fall right over. Too big. Major fire hazard.

After receiving a Christmas pyramid for my birthday, I quickly discovered just how hard it is to find the 5/8 inch candles it required. I could only find them online and they are pretty pricey, especially with shipping. The product description said these were 1/2 inch diameter, so I knew they would be a little small, but just like other reviewers have said, a little wax fixes that problem completely. I bought the white candles, and they burn beautifully with no drips whatsoever. It is true they burn fast, but they are only 1/2 an inch in diameter, so you really shouldn't expect a candle that size to burn all day. I bought three boxes to have several on hand. The price is great, and with a prime account there is no shipping, making these candles the best deal by far.
