Great as usual
Worked with the switch in multiple sites. Never seems to impress

Its silent and easy to configure
I bought this switch for my home site, I wanted a PoE switch for my APs, I had a Ubiquiti before that worked great, but it had a fan that made it very noisy. This one is fan-less, and its the best decision I could have made. It doesn't get very hot, so its perfect. Easy to configure.

Perfect upgrade for my situation
I've been upgrading my existing UniFi network at home and this was the perfect switch for my data closet. It does have some minor issues if there is a power loss and the PoE+ doesn't supply to the 8 ports, but a simple reboot from the controller fixes that. It is an issue that Ubiquiti is working on.Update:. The issue with the PoE+ ports were resolved with firmware updates.

works great
no noise, not very hot, about 1/3 the heat as the pro key that sits on it. poe is all maxed for cameras, no issue with performance heat or noise at all.have defaulted a dozen or so times due to controller mods that i could not fix, not the switches fault, the switch comes online and does its job with out any configuration from me.

Doesnt support 10Gig SFPs
Great switch, just lacks 10Gig support. 1GB only including the SFPs which seems a waste to even have SFPs in that case.

Flawed product design. POE output too low!
This rating is 100% on Ubiquiti for releasing a flawed product. I get alerts on my unifi-ui weekly that POE output power has exceeded 42w and AP's go down!!!My home is only using 5 of the 8 ports (4 AP's (3NanoHD & 1 AC-mech) & 1 Cloudkey G2+ w/ SSD upgrade). None of the LED lights are on either and all the AP's are running in default ranges. On paper the 42W should be enough, but apparently no. I had a 150w 16-port that died that i need to replace and purchased this one thinking that even though it has a lower output, Ubiquiti would have ratted it to work with their products since it's a closed eco-system. Plus with 3-5w per device w/ the median being 4, would allow for (8X4=32) 32W of consumption leaving 10W as a buffer range (w/ maybe +3to5W of built in redundancy).I worked for a network systems manufacture and they all make BAD decisions like this once they are a mature business. They get greedy, lazy and overly confident in their abilities to slim down and mark up prices. Or keep prices the same but give you less. Which is the case here.
