Fits Dyson Animal Ball 2 or UP20
For anyone unsure, this part does indeed fit the Animal Ball 2 or UP20, the only difference is that the ring is red instead of grey on mine.Confirmed the product came in a genuine Dyson product box and had the Dyson stamps on the part itself. No, the part isn't twisted due to a defect like some claim - it's made that way because of the spring inside of it, confirmed against the original part that was removed from the vacuum. Found a decent repair video on YouTube and I was able to fix this myself, you will need a Torx T8 and T10 driver for the repair if you don't already have them.

OEM fit, DIY swap is manageable
Just like others on Youtube, the original part on my Dyson had become dry and cracked so it was reducing the vacuum to the floor head. Replacing this short hose was relatively easy BUT you will need to have the right tools as the screws are star head and are somewhat deep in the housing of the vacuum.The quality of the hose is great and swapping it was not too bad. Make sure you watch some videos and you'll be OK in getting this part replaced. Vacuum really "sucks" now.

THERE IS A VIDEO THAT DESCRIBES HOW TO 7 SCREWS AND OUT 15 MIN JOB EASY !
There are 3 tiny black screws that mount the top of the ball thats all that has to come apart to do the job. Then the 4 silver screws that hold the bottom internal hose . THE filter comes off and the other side of the ball comes off with a click of the outside screw cover , then the tri angle plastic funny looking nut threads off . then find the 3 tiny black torx screws that hold the top cover of the ball take them off slide the cover off take the 4 torx silver screws off the bottom hose part and slide it out . WIGGLE IT A LITTLE BIT . To install , slide the hose in first and the assembly will follow . install the 4 silver screws install the ball cover install the 3 tiny torx screws install the clip part of the hose into the chamber and CLICK install the tiny phillips screw to hold the red clip , install the ball side with the funny looking tri angle nut install the nut cover with a click install the filter and filter cover .
