This light is mounted behind a waterfall in my water feature. The light is very bright on it's highest setting, so it would work well if in the pond itself. The app to adjust it gives you lots of choices and is simple to use. I usually find that underwater lights are good for maybe a couple of years before the seals fail and water gets in. With this light not actually "under" water, I hope it lasts longer. For the colors and brightness, I think this is a good choice and value.

This light is really nice with nice features using a phone app which drove me to buying thus light. However once submerged into your pond underwater it loses all Bluetooth connectivity. You would have to take it out the water to reestablish Bluetooth connection. The fact that it is intended to be waterproof and submersible I would think it would work with the app while submerged. We will see if it follows the on off schedule I set later today. If it does I will keep it in spite of being disappointed with no connection while submerged. If it stayed connected I would have given it 5 stars. Update to 4 stars even though the Bluetooth connectivity does not connect while submerged if programmed before being submerged it will hold the program. No 5 stars because you can't change it unless you remove it from under the water.

That is about what I would expect for something underwater that is on 24/7. Does not appear to have leaked, just flashing and won't connect to the app. App is good and connected easy. Light can be any colour or brightness with some built in patterns. Note that water is an excellent Bluetooth blocker and you must pull the light out connect.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:looked like a quality product

I have used this design for several years now. The suppliers have changed over time, e.g. Lemonbest, Sungetace, Woowoo, Neewer etc. But the design is basically the same - an aluminum body with RGB LEDs supporting 16 colors w a remote control. The remote design varies a bit. They are bright and they hold up pretty well under water. I have some that are as old as 6 yrs. I use them as color spots in my fountains. Avg lifetime is around 4 yrs which is pretty good given these sit underwater year round and run all night.One note of point, tighten the ring holding the lens in place to ensure a good water proof seal.I have these running in slow fade color changing mode. They remember their settings across off/on cycles. This design is my favorite underwater light.

This is a great light except the fact that you have to have it completely out of the water to program it to what color you want and if you want to do a schedule. The Bluetooth does not work through water, but once you have it all set on the App out of the water before you put it in it will work how you want. And if you want to change anything, you have to pull it back out of the water.

The media could not be loaded. Had this fountain light for a week and really like it. It’s everything it was advertised to be. Lots of options on the remote, colors, flash or fade, dimming, etc. It seems to be handling being submerged very well.It seems to be a fairly high quality device for the price. I will update this with any changes but for now very happy with this purchase. Quick shipping was another bonus.I would buy again.Had this light for 3 months still working great! Use it everyday. No complaints with product.This light finally quit working after a year. But for $20 I think it’s a good deal, even if I have to buy one every year. In fact, just bought a new one. I think for the price it’s a great product.

This was a great light out of the box. It worked great in my little waterfall pond. Just the other day, I looked out back and noticed that the light had started to flash rapidly, intermittently cutting out completely. I removed it from the water and inspected it. All looked fine. Checked the power connections and all seemed clean and clear. But, it simply no longer works. Oh well, I hope anyone else that buys one has a longer lasting result.
