I have to go to networking events for work all the time, and they always have plastic name badges that either have a pin or a clip, which is inconvenient to attach to womens' suits or dresses, and always flip around. Since I'm always getting a new name badge at every event, I wanted a magnet that I could remove and use again. I have only used it once so far, but it was perfect. I just slipped one side into the back of the name badge, and the other on the inside of my suit. The badge was very strong and stayed in place all night. I'm glad there are extras as well, since I will be able to share them with friends and colleagues.

Easy to use and works as expected. I used it to replace the pins on existing name tags and really wish I had gotten the larger size but the stick on back is easy to use and the magnet works well. This might be nice for a single line name tag but most name tags would benefit from a larger magnetic holder with 3 magnets on the back. I would get this again but for my use next time I will get the larger sized magnetic backs. Only word of caution I would use is to measure your name tag and get the biggest sized magnet that is easily hidden by the name tag.

I was worried these wouldn't be strong enough to attach costume pieces, but i was wrong. I tested these with double layered outer coat material and they still didn't budge.

Magnets are very strong! We had the pin style name tags we wear with our bdu uniforms and the back kept falling off causing the pin to rub against my Kevlar vest carrier. Took a dremel and grinded the pins off and attached the magnet holder with the supplied 3m tape and no I have no worries about damaging an expensive vest or being caught by supervising officers with no nametag due to it falling off. I only needed one but I'm on my way to work to pass out the rest to the other guys in my patrol unit. Highly recommend!

Strong magnet. A bit heavy and large but works well!

In our community, you are required to wear your name tag for all events at the club house. Your name tag comes with nothing. We found a couple of old things to clip on them so it was easier. Then I found this - it is wonderful. Fastened one piece to back of name tag and now just press to magnetic side inside my top. There nothing handing or pulling on my neck. People ask me how I got that kind of tag - check Amazon - seriously I love it!

I bought these to use as an alternative hanging solution for my 9" x 36" business (modified) banners from VistaPrint. I wanted a nice clean look (no grommets/strings/plastic tabs). So far, I've hung them up about 5 times and the sticky back side of these magnets seems to hold onto the material just as strongly as the magnetic connection! I placed a magnet in each of the corners and center edges, however, there are still a few "waves" in the sign I'd like to smooth out. Also, if you look closely you can see indentations on the material of where they're attached, but it's real subtle. Therefore, I'll be ordering more to help smooth these out and to also have extra if needed. Overall, very pleased to see my idea is working and that they're holding up my sign all nice and clean! :)

This was too big to stick to the back of my campaign's pin-button directly, but the magnet works directly on the back of mine anyway, because my button is also magnetic! Before I realized that, I used some ribbon leftover from Christmas and it adhered to that very well! I've removed and reattached the opposite magnet several times and it hasnt torn the ribbon or anything. The magnets keep it attached to clothes very well, it hasn't fallen off.
