From the Manufacturer This is the Futaba 7C 2.4GHz Helicopter Radio System with the R617FS FASST 7-Channel Receiver and four S3152 Digital High-Torque Servos. This is the helicopter version which will default to heli settings when powered up and does not have a ratcheted throttle stick. Modeler can change from the default mode (mode 2 in USA) by holding the Mode and End keys and then turning transmitter On to access the STK feature, changing mode and turning transmitter Off and then On again. It is recommended to send transmitter to the Futaba Service Center to change switch operation.

Incredible deal, powerful and easy to use
The 7C is probably as complex a setup as anyone would need for their helicopter. The exceptions would be professionals, and scale modelers. The 7 channels give you the option for a TX controlled gain on your Gyro, and a TX controlled Governor on your heli. The built-in awash types come ready for most awash setups, and will configure to support ALL swash types. All the functions are assignable to the different switches. The manual gives examples and common switch assignment, but I suggest you write a cheat sheet until you are very comfortable knowing what switch does what. You don't want to start your timer by pulling a switch to find out it enabled throttle hold while you weren't ready and 8 feet off the ground, etc. Now, a word about Best Services, the supplier. They sell everything, the prices are good, but you will see they list the RX battery included on this product, which is not true. When mine arrived I let them know and their response was to contact the manufacturer, Futaba, to get the missing battery. I tried, and Futaba said the part number I purchased isn't supposed to include the battery. I told this to Best Services, and they don't care. They finally agreed to take it all back for a refund. If I hadn't spent hours getting it all installed and setup in my model I would have agreed to the refund. Other sellers offer 2 RX for the same price. Anyway, the batter is about $18, and you will need it if you are using a Nitro model, just FYI.Anyway, the product I give 5 stars, the seller I give 2 stars for good prices and pathetic customer service. By the way, I got a long personal looking response to my inquiry. When I hadn't heard anything I wrote to them again, and I got the identical response, it is computer generated. I couldn't even get a real person to communicate with me, not after numerous attempts and emails. If you get what you want, great. If you need their support, good luck.
