Great solid copper cable. Worked great for my tv antenna installation

Wanted to run one cable from my outdoor digital antenna directly to the TV. This worked great, outstanding picture quality.

It works

I've literally run hundreds of thousands of feet of coax in my lifetime going back to the days when RG59 was in prominent use. Aside from messengered and direct burial PE jacketed, this is probably the stiffest RG6 that I can recall. I have a lifetime supply of RG6 quad shield with CCS center conductor on hand. I bought this solid copper center conductor coax for some short runs to transition from flooded to non flooded cable inside the home, at the wall plates. A solid copper center conductor is "necessary" to maintain compliance with the mini satellite companies spec. as these cables carry low voltage DC.That aside, this is clearly a quality RG6 coax. The cable is terminated with quality PPC compression fittings. It's probably not completely fair but I'm knocking off 1 star, in small part due to the stiffness of the cable which may require that a bit more care be used in dressing the cable when connecting it to terminal equipment. But, mainly because the connectors were not fully compressed by whomever (or whatever) did the termination. Not an issue in my particular case and should not be an issue for anyone using the cable as is, with the existing connectors. However, I felt it should be noted. Again, the cable itself is excellent quality and for anyone who plans on using shorter lengths of it and terminating them yourself, it is a piece of cake to terminate, assuming one has the right connectors and tools. Terminating this cable is like a breath of fresh air for me since I'm so used to working with quad shield cable.

You can spot good quality cable by its weight & flexibility + One look at the thick solid copper center wire tells you it can handle the heaviest of loads. This is well built to last a long time.
