This light is excellent. On opening the box one finds a great set of extras, including a set of a small rake, spade and a fork, a humidistat/thermostat and a full set of hanging wires and also the ratchet for hanging the lamp. Brilliantly equipped. The two COB “bulbs” are slightly differently coloured, with one being a white light and one slightly warmer. Surrounding these are an array of smaller LEDs that aid in providing a full spectrum light. It certainly looks that way with no “blurple” colouring. What initially impressed me is the wide-angled distribution of the lights. Much broader than my other lights, including another COB lamp I have. After running the light overnight I noticed that this light runs much cooler than any of my other lamps. This is crucial when you are growing in warmer conditions. In terms of construction, this is a very well-made item. All surfaces and corners are smooth and flush. All clips fasten neatly and this unit is light in weight, too. The plants love this lamp-they “pray” towards it when it is on and growth is measurably faster under this lamp than my old lamps. I highly recommend this lamp. The manufacturer has given great thought to the kit provided and to the cool running and quietness of the lamp. Any queries relating to this product were responded to promptly by a knowledgeable customer service representative. Five stars.

I have couple of plants grow lights (clip-on, IKEA, and few full-spectrum LED). Comparing to all others, this is one of the best and brightest I've purchased (KA1000), and I will explain it below in a few categories. It has a double switch design (Veg mode and Bloom mode). Veg mode activates the 2 large cob light (very bright) like daylight. Bloom mode activate red and blue lights. Both works separately and can be combined too.Build:Quality and build are in par with other brands, but the clear dome glass helps to disperse the light better and covers a wider range.Noise:Noise level is significantly lower than other similar brands, and it has 2 fans instead of 1 for better ventilation.Power:200W and it is very bright light compared to my other lights.Other:Come with 2 years warranty as peace of mind. (not many brand offer 2 years warranty). It is more expensive to other similar products but with the better functionality, brighter lights and covering more spaces/ area, warranty, I can say I only need one of this light for the space I have comparing of having 2 or 3 for the similar coverage. Thermostat and humidity unit included in box also useful tool to have.Summary:I am happy with this product and saving space for only one of this to cover the whole area. Really impressed with this light.Earlier in the week I set it on veg mode, which I understand is more suitable for leafy vegetables like lettuce and saves energy due to not having the bloom setting on. I've now got more salad than I can eat!Right now, we're due for a week or two of rain which i was dreading because my coffee and aloe vera plants have been doing so well in the sun. Now I can just put them under this light for 6 hours a day and it'll be like (if not better) than my sunny windowsil!The device is really easy to set up. All you need is a hook in the ceiling to attach the hangings from and then it's just plug and play. The ratchet will allow you to move the light up and down as your plants grow.It is a very strong light, and it's probably best not used on seedlings at a close distance.Really impressed!

This is a really well built and quiet machine - the fans make very little noise.The unit is very easy to hang and is very sturdy once it’s hung up and the height can easily be adjusted.It has 2 functions - veg or bloom but you can also have both settings on at the same time too.You can daisy chain to connect at maximum of 3 units if you have a large area.The lights are really bright and will cover a wide area.Very happy with this plant grow light!
