Long Ranger Wireless Charger

I don't usually write reviews, but there aren't a whole lot of products that do exactly what this does: charging wirelessly and reliably without being visible or ugly. Honestly, I bought this thinking that I'll most likely have to return it, but I added it to my nightstand, which is about 1.25 inches or 30 mm thick, and it works perfectly for the past few days since I got it. The charger itself is hidden under the nightstand, which itself is wired to the wall. It uses a strong 3M tape that holds it in place. There's also a top piece (see pictures) which also uses some sort of adhesive to hold it in place (although not 3M). I've noticed that the charger works without it just fine (at least with my nightstand's thickness), but I don't know if it has any advantage. I thought I should add it anyway so I know where to put my phone.I especially liked the added little green piece of a circuit board that came with it. It lights up when it's getting electric charge from the charger. Basically you can move it around to figure out where you should put the top piece so that it's directly above the charger.I only have two complaints about this charger:1- It's kinda slow. From what I can find on their website, it's a 5W charger. It's normal that it'll be slower than wired charging, but I was hoping it'd be a little better. That being said, I haven't found a faster charger that can also be hidden like this one anyway. Also, I only use it overnight, so speed is not my highest priority.2- This is somewhat minor, but I'm not a fan of the top piece's design. I wish it was more minimalistic, so maybe only having the circle, but not the charging sign in the middle, or at least I wish they gave us a few options. Also, I don't know how strong the adhesive is, and whether it'll mess my furniture if I tried to remove it. My plan is to try to heat it first, and see what happens, if I ever wanted to remove it. If that ever happened, I'll come here and update.

This thing did not work at all with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Even if I tried it not under a desk. I tried with just the antenna and bare phone directly on top. No charging at all! I tried probably 30 times, looking for the sweet spot. Nothing.I also tried under my 1 1/2” wood desk. Again nothing.Also, it says the antenna is required to use. Ok, I did test with the antenna and no go. Regardless- why in the world would I want the antenna device on top of my desk? This basically replicates all other Qi chargers? Maybe a little thinner and without a wire, but you can hide a wire pretty easily.I really want something under my desk with nothing visible! I want to just set my phone on the sweet spot of my raw beautiful desk and have it charge!Also FYI- I just tried my AirPod case as well. No charge at all! Complete bust on this device! Going back!A couple other points as I boxed this thing back up:1. The box was pretty torn up on the inside. I bet it was a returned product that was sent to me.2. There is a tester for the Qi signal. That actually lights up . So it seems like it should work but zero ability to charge anything.

OK, so I had to have this. Would it really work like they say it does? I thought the price was very reasonable, so I hit the order button on Amazon. My goal is to get rid of another wire and gadget off my counter. After reviewing the very informative product video on the Amazon product site; I was a bit torn between locating on my kitchen counter or my bedroom nightstand; the two places that I normally charge my phone. My kitchen counter is inch and quarter thick granite. Would it work through this? Sure Did! Then - my bedroom nightstand is wood but has a separate glass top on it. Would it work through this? Sure Did! Anyone that sees this charger treats it like a magic trick. Comments so far have been .. "No Way!", "Freak'in Badass" & " Whaaaat?!" Anyhow.. I just ordered a second "long ranger" for my kitchen counter. To summarize; I Love... ( love, love) my new charger!

Easy to install, I have three of these so far. For family and friends to use. They also make nice coasters lol. I hate having coasters out for people to mess with so I installed one on each of our end tables and my office desk. Nice to keep condensation from messing up my wood surfaces!And they charge my stuff! 😆The charger works better the thinner the space between the disk and the pad. So it charges slower on thick tops. On thinner table tops you can even get away with not using the sticky top pad, for a totally invisible charger. I’ll be buying a couple more for sure! Works in my iPhone, friends android phones, AirPods, and my Samsung wireless galaxy buds.

I'm using this thru a 2.5 cm wood nightstand and it doesnt work after 2 minutes. I align the devices with the flashing device, it flashed like 3 times per sec, and did everything as it was shown in the video and paper instructions. I tried taking the case off and cleaning it (cause i read it was the plastic case too sometimes) and put it back on and still doesnt work.Now I just tried it with no case at all and it still doesn't work!!! this os very upsetting. I'm gonna keep trying. but I will return if it doesnt work to get my 70 bucks back.2 days later UPDATE: I change the location of the whole system to a clearer space, and it still doesn't work!! (with case)BUT the only way I found this to work is by putting it on the receiver WITHOUT the case.... but I dont wanna take my case off every time I need to charge it so THIS DOESNT WORK WITH TPU CASES (the most average kind of plastic material for phone cases)False advertisement really sucks. it really never says it works thru cases, they just show images that are most likely edited and misleading. I would not buy again.

I love the concept of this item and it worked as described. Because of the thickness of my desk I could not get My phone to charge while inside the case. One side removed it from the case it worked fine. The only issue that I have with this item is the receiver on top of the desk is a fixed by a strong adhesive which means that it's not easily moved to a new location.

The build quality seems to be good. The packaging exceeded my expectations.Tip: The charger and top side disk are different sizes. If you mount based on measurements, make sure that you measure from the center point and not the edges. Check with the LED tester before finalizing.The charger does not support fast charging. Fair enough. It is not advertised as such. Just something to keep in mind.It won't charge my Samsung Active 2 watch. Some research suggests that this is more likely a Samsung watch issue than it is a charger issue. Also just something to keep in mind.It does charge my Samsung S20+ and Samsung wireless ear buds.All in all I really like it. I do hope that it proves reliable and long lasting. I will update this review if I experience any problems.Update: I think the negative reviewers here are being unfair. The product does work. My guess is an installation error. The charger and top antenna amplifier must be aligned. The kit includes an LED tester for verifying placement and this tool does work. Test the positioning before peeling off the adhesive sticker.Also, I contacted the seller with a couple of questions and they responded to me within hours.I have this installed on 3/4" hardwood. MDF may bit slightly more dense, but I would be surprised if that was the only factor. Again, I suspect installation error to be the cause.I am a fan of product because it works well and solves a problem that I have been looking for a solution for. I've had disk and cradle chargers on my desk for years and rarely seemed to use them. I was able to place this charger exactly where I like to put my phone and when I'm not using it, I still have the desk space. No cables to worry about.Update 2: Jan 2021 - I have had this for 3 months now and it works perfectly. Thus far, I stand by my 5 star rating.Update 3: Mar 2021 - Still working perfectly. Still 5 stars.

It’s a piece of junk no matter what you do it don’t work , Amazon please wake up , the bigger your getting the more you deal with scammers, please take note I don’t even feel like returning this piece of junk it’s going straight in the garage like your vendor should .
