This is a pretty essential piece of the ebike build. It allows the motor to spool down during shifts and works very well. It is automatically sensing so there is no programming required other than plugging in the cable. You will save your bike chain a lot of unnecessary torque. I used these on bafang bbs02 and bbshd. The important things to remember are that you must carefully feed the shift cable through as it's easy to get stuck and destrand when installing. Also the placement is key, dont put this near the bend on the cable run.

Had some issues with the original sensor. I contacted the company and after verifying I had it setup correctly they where more than happy to send out a replacement at no cost. Great customer service!
